Chapter 909

Sean carefully applied the medicine to Patrick’s face for a while, and the doctor breathed a sigh of relief

when Sean was finished.

However, just as the doctor was about to pack his medical briefcase and leave, Patrick stopped him.

"Wait."

"Were you hurt elsewhere?" The doctor asked.

"No," Patrick was suddenly grinning evilly. "Sean's nose is swollen. I can help him with it too."

As Sean stared at him, he shrugged. "Just returning a favor."

With that, he took out the disinfectant and the antiinflammatory medicine from the doctor's briefcase

and started to shove it up Sean's nose.

It stung Sean, but he gritted his teeth and didn't make a sound, knowing that Patrick was just getting

back at him.

Patrick frowned.

He wasn't being gentle at all, but Sean wasn’t fighting back?

As such, he went even harder, and Sean's nose reddened further when it wasn't before.

However, Sean never once made a sound; Patrick actually wondered if the former had issues with his

senses. "Doesn't it hurt?"

"I'm not a kid, unlike you."

Patrick scowled, speechless.

"Are you done?" Sean asked him.

Patrick said nothing, so Sean turned towards the doctor. "You may go now."

"Yes, sir."

The doctor quickly packed up and left; he wondered if Patrick really didn’t hurt Sean, since it already

hurt to look.

"Go to my room, Patrick. I need to talk to Cordy alone," Sean told Patrick.

"What can't I know? We're going to be family eventually, since I’m marrying Cordy soon enough,"

Patrick snapped, a little uncomfortable about being suddenly left out.

"Then we shall wait until eventually comes."

"Are you belittling me?" Patrick was a little frustrated. "You think I can't win her heart?"

"I never said anything.

"F*ck," Patrick cursed-Sean may well have said yes.

Still, he left since there was no arguing that point.

After all, he kept running into roadblocks on the way to Cordy's heart.

After Patrick left, Cordy asked bluntly, "You're letting him rest, aren't you?”

There was a flash of surprise in Sean's eyes as he turned towards her, as he was surprised that Cordy

saw through him immediately.

Still, it wasn't surprising Cordy could guess it, since Sean never went out of his way to hide anything

from Patrick before.
