After Rachel walked out of the door, the group of men in black tactfully dispersed in all directions, not
saying a single word.
She guessed that it must be Lucas who had given them instructions. Hence, she did not think more
about the matter.
At this moment, Mary was handing out a stack of banknotes to a few people in suits and leather shoes.
“You did a good job today!”

Before she could finish speaking, Rachel’s phone suddenly rang. The call was from Lucas.
As soon as the call connected, Rachel could hear Lucas’s lazy voice. “Everything okay? Do you want
to enjoy a good lunch to celebrate?”
“Sure,” Rachel said, “Remember to add an extra chair.”
“Alright! I’ll go over and pick you up now!”
After hanging up the phone, Mary gave the bag to Rachel. “You go to the exit first. I’m going to the
washroom.”
“Okay.”
Rachel took the things and walked toward the exit.
However, as she was walking, a hand suddenly reached out from the door of a private room beside her.
Before she could react, she was pulled into the private room.
Rachel frowned slightly. She quickly grabbed the other party’s wrist.
The other party seemed to have expected this and overpowered her easily. He pinned her arm behind
her back and pressed her against the wall.

The man chuckled softly, and his charming voice sounded in Rachel’s
ears.

his slim fingers and gently caressed her cheek. “You don’t want to see me?”
The warmth from David spread from his fingertips to Rachel’s body. Rachel smiled and pressed her
cheek against his palm lovingly. “I just didn’t expect you to appear suddenly.”
Looking at Rachel in his arms, a certain emotion surged in David’s deep black eyes.
