With a smile, Rachel looked up at Noah and said, “I’m sorry. I have no time for you and I’m not interested as well.”

After finishing her sentence, Rachel turned around and left.

As Noah watched Rachel leave, Noah shouted indignantly, “Are you really not interested, or are you worried that

you will know too much?”

Hearing Noah’s words, Rachel paused in her tracks. Turning around to look at Noah, Rachel said nonchalantly, “I

recalled that Mr. Jones mentioned in person that riveting things are usually more interesting when they are

revealed at the last. Why are you losing your cool now?” It was obvious that Rachel’s words were filled with

mockery and sarcasm.

Despite hearing Rachel’s mockery, Noah had no time to care about this. now as he only wanted to leave this place

Noah.

“Mrs. Olson, David’s father, and David…

Rachel thought to herself.

her.

Aileen was wearing a black velvet long dress. The lace at the hem and cuffs of her dress made Aileen look sweet

and elegant.

Her long hair was scattered behind her, and Aileen wore a diamond hair clip.

Aileen was holding a parasol in her hand as she steadily walked over from afar. Under the sun, Aileen looked like an

elegant and noble black swan.

Vulture stared fixedly at Aileen who was walking towards him until she stood right in front of him. Aileen looked at

Vulture and said, “Don’t look at me like that. It’s as if you are interested in me…”

Before Aileen could finish her sentence, Vulture suddenly rushed forward and hugged her tightly.

The sudden and unexpected embrace shocked Aileen.

Unlike Aileen’s usual behavior, there was a rare hint of gentleness in Aileen’s eyes and her gaze softened visibly.

Aileen felt that her heart was thumping wildly out of control.

Just as Aileen carefully raised her hand and was about to respond, Vulture suddenly let go of her. Raising his hand,

Vulture gave a heavy pat on Aileen’s shoulder and said, “Tonight, let’s drink to our heart’s content! We’ll not go

home until all of us are drunk!”

Aileen came back to her senses and looked down to mask the emotions in her eyes. Pursing her lips, Aileen

repeated absent-mindedly, “We’ll not go home until all of us are drunk.”

“You guys can go ahead and talk. I’ll be taking a call. Rachel interrupted

the two of them timely and walked away to take her call.

After the call was connected, Lucas’s voice sounded from Rachel’s phone. “It’s such a coincidence that you had

asked me to investigate Mrs. Olson last night. They left Seaxas last night.”

“They left Seaxas?” Rachel asked as she frowned. Pursing her lips, Rachel pondered for a moment before asking

Lucas, “Did you manage to have any findings?”

“The news about Yandel has been blocked. It wasn’t until Yandel left last night that I found some clues through the

surveillance cameras.” Lucas lit a cigarette and said unhurriedly, “Yandel’s left shoulder should be injured. As for

the extent of the injury, we are unable to know about the details at this point in time. However, the hospital’s team

of specialists was mobilized last night. It can’t be a small injury.”

Rachel grunted a reply and hung up the call.

“It so happens that Yandel had suffered from a serious injury and left Seaxas just before I came back. Was it a

coincidence or was it deliberate?” Rachel pondered.
