The next few days will be tough on you." Heather shook her head joyfully, then asked, "When should we get our marriage license? | noticed that everyone else gets theirs before the wedding." Dexter replied indifferently, "I'll be quite busy recently, so let's wait until I'm free." He didn't mention a specific day.
Heather's bright smile stiffened.

He stepped into the familiar house and saw Josie standing in the doorway, tense as a drawn bow and silent as a stone.
She watched him enter and asked, "Why did you bringhere instead of spending tbuilding a life together with your fiancée?" Dexter removed his coat, his expression calm and unruffled. "At least you won't get kidnapped to a place with a ticking tbomb by staying here." Josie chuckled. "So, you're saying you're actually looking out for me?" Dexter didn't respond.
Exasperated, Josie wished she could tear off his calm facade. The touching feeling she felt yesterday had completely vanished.
"If you dare to leavehere, I'll immediately expose your cheating behavior to the media."
