She watched him disappear from sight. Then, she took the drive back to the firm.
Naomi had just sat in front of her table when her phone rang. Ronald was calling. He said, "Naomi, I've investigated what you askedto. Fuck. He can't be human. He's nothing but a monster." Naomi replied, "Alright. Email it to me." After they hung up, Ronald quickly emailed what he had found to her.
Looking at what Ronald had sent, Naomi's face paled in front of the computer. She went to the prosecutor's office immediately with the hard drive in hand.
When she returned to the firm, she gripped the steering wheel tightly with both hands. Her brain was filled with images of Jessica's horrible treatment and Ivan's fake demeanor.
