Rosalie wanted to give the baby a nas soon as possible.
She had promised Sebastian to let him nthe baby, and she wouldn't go back on her word. She couldn't give Sebastian anything else, but he stayed so faithfully by her side, even through her labor. Rosalie felt immensely guilty. Letting Sebastian nher child was the only thing she could do for him.
"I thought of a nlong ago. What about Steve?" "Steve." Rosalie subconsciously turned to look out the window as she mumbled the baby's name.
It was early in the morning and bright sunlight shone down, peeking through the towering trees that were dancing in the morning breeze.
What a beautiful morning. It felt like a new beginning, and Rosalie almost forgot all of her troubles.
Rosalie turned around to look at the baby in her arms. She gently caressed his little cheeks as tears blurred her vision once more.

Rosalie immediately assured him. "No, Seb. The nis great." She then said to the baby in her arms, "My baby, your nis Steve from now on." Rosalie looked very haggard, but seeing her baby in her arms made her eyes brim with joy and love of a new mother.
Upon hearing Rosalie call the baby by the nhe gave him, joy filled Sebastian's heart and he smiled warmly. A thought suddenly cto his mind as he asked, "Rose, whose last nwill the baby take?" He had wanted to suggest that the baby not take his family name, but was worried Rosalie might get upset. To be on the safe side, he decided to ask Rosalie.
No matter what the baby's last nended up to be, the only thing he wouldn't be able to accept is for the baby to take the Spencer family name.
At Sebastian's question, Rosalie's gaze landed on the baby once more.
Theodore and her were divorced. It didn't seem appropriate for the baby to take the Spencer family name. However, the baby couldn't possibly take Sebastian's family name. He wasn't Sebastian's child to begin with. "The baby will take my last name. He'll be Steve Young," she finally said.
Sebastian inwardly heaved a sigh of relief.
Just as long as the baby didn't take the Spencer family name.
What he really wanted, though, was for the baby to take his family name.
Taking Rosalie's family nwas compromise. Sebastian could very well accept that, since she was the one who went through all the pain to give birth to the baby.
Whether the baby took the Carter or the Young family name, he was their baby. No one could tear their family of three apart.
Sebastian sat by the bedside, gently tucking a lock of stray hair behind Rosalie's ear.
"Yes, it's right for the baby to take your family name. You went through so much to give birth to him, so it's only right." Sebastian held Rosalie's hand gently and kissed the back of it. "Rose, as long as you're willing, our baby will be a lucky baby in the future." The warm smile on Rosalie's face stiffened at Sebastian's words.
She looked up as shock registered in her eyes.

Sebastian sensed that he said something he shouldn't have. Hez tried to lighten the mood, suppressing his sorrow. "It was just a passing remark. Don't take it to heart." en Did she still not want to spend the rest of her life with him? Despite not wanting to divorce him, was she still unwilling for them to be a normal, married couple? He didn't dare imagine what life would be without being married to Rosalie.
They were both still young, and had much tahead of them. Sebastian's heart throbbed with pain at the mere thought of it.
He was a man and had his needs.
No, he would certainly have his chance. Rosalie had just given birth, ad just given. and he shouldn't rush her: They would talk about it after she was fully rested and recovered.
She even suffered a seizure right after giving birth. The doctor om explained that it was due to immense stress; and she had to rest and recuperate well. Sebastian thought himself as a patient man.
He wasn't in a hurry. He was willing to wait.
Since he was able to wait till Rosalie
married him and agreed not to divorce him, he would certainly be able to wait for Rosalie to becwilling to be truly husband and wife with him.
