Night fell as rain poured down to the earth. Raindrops fell like silver streaks across the dark sky.
In the quiet room, Theodore stood by the window, staring at the raindrops trickling down the glass as melancholy overwhelmed him.
Under the dim lighting, his handsface looked even more charming amidst the rain.
His eyes were deep and incisive, like a gemstone glittering in the night sky, reflecting the endless pain and sorrow he was feeling with sharp clarity.
His brows were slightly furrowed, as if in deep thought. He felt just like a profound riddle that was difficult to solve, as if countless secrets lay underneath those eyes of his.
He stood tall and towering, as resilient as a mountain, and exuding an air of authority with his imposing figure. Yet, sorrow shone in his eyes, clouding his features with a layer of melancholy and gloom. It felt as though he found solace in the quiet, rainy night.

A bottle of wine stood on the windowsill.
Theodore had gastric issues, and even suffered from a case of gastrointestinal rupture due to drinking too much. The doctor ordered him not to drink over the next three years.
He had promised Rosalie he would never touch alcohol again, and would take care of his own health.
However, in the deep of the night, the pain and sorrow he felt made him unable to suppress the urge to drink. Alcohol was the only thing capable of numbing his pain and stopping himself from jumping off the balcony and seeking his own death.
'Rose,' he wondered, 'are you well over there? 'Are you very happy with Sebastian, so much that you've completely forgotten about me?' It had been over a week since Theodore got the address from Yerick. However, he didn't have the courage to go to the address to find her.
He had been hesitating. He feared he might go crazy when he got there and saw Rosalie, and how loving she was with Sebastian.
He knew that the only way to protect himself was to not find her at all. No matter how her life had been with Sebastian, as long as he didn't see it for himself, hope would still remain alive in him. However, once he saw it with his own eyes, he would completely lose all hope.
He did consider finding a random woman and marrying her as a form of revenge against Rosalie, since she so heartlessly married another man.
That urge borne of anger, however, proved futile against his calm rationale.
Theodore couldn't find it in himself to do something like that. He gine living with a couldn't Sother woman, even if it weren't What's more, even if he really did that, would he really get sweet revenge against Rosalie? For all he knew, Rosalie might feel relieved. "Theodore Spencer, you had it coming. Who else can you blame?" He looked at himself through the window pane and smiled sardonically. He grabbed the bottle on the windowsill and downed the liquid, mouth by mouth.
Thunder roared outside the window.
Smash! The wine bottle crashed on the floor and broke into many little pieces.
Theodore collapsed on the floor, a hand over his stomach, as his face contorted with face.
