"Theo, no, no! "Please, no! Theo, where are you? "No!" Rosalie's eyes flew open, but all she could see was an unfamiliar, quiet room.
Her heart raced as she sat up swiftly, beads of sweat rolling down her temple. Lingering fear shone in her eyes. She had a bad dream in which Theodore...died.
In her dream, he kept staring at her with resentment in his eyes right before he died, as if she had done something gravely wrong.
How could it be? He was probably...doing well right now, and probably had completely forgotten about her.
He refused to see her or even call or text her.
He didn't want their baby.

The city was stirring awake. The morning sunlight streamed in through the curtains and shone into the room, warming it up gently.
The door suddenly opened with a bang as Sebastian rushed in. He heard Rosalie scream and rushed over, not even bothering to knock.
Rosalie saw someone enter her room, and instinctively pulled the sheets up to cover herself. Upon seeing that it was Sebastian, she heaved a sigh of relief. "Seb, I'm fine. I just had a nightmare." Rosalie's eyes were still filled with fear and exhaustion. She tried hard to control her breathing in an attempt to forget about that suffocating nightmare.
Her pale yet beautiful features were aglow with sunlight, but the look in her eyes remained hazy. Sebastian walked over and asked with concern, "What was the nightmare about? You can tellabout it." "Nothing much, just that I was chased by bad guys. Perhaps I've been overthinking things recently." "Rose, you know you can always talk toif you have something bothering you," Sebastian said as he held her hands. "Childbirth is very tough, and I can sympathize with whatever you're going through. Please don't keep things to yourself. Remember that you're never overthinking. All your thoughts are absolutely reasonable." Rosalie looked silently at Sebastian, feeling tears well up in her eyes.
Many people often use "overthinking things" as a slipshod reason to smooth things over, but Sebastian was different.
Sebastian always took her seriously. On the other hand, she was always the one trying to create a fuss with him. She felt bad about it.
She didn't even dare tell him what her nightmare was about.
If only the husband she truly loved was by her side, telling her such tender words. A pity that she would never get that chance. Theodore didn't want their baby.
The reality was, she would spend her whole life with Sebastian instead.
Sebastian would one day becher real husband in substance. She had to prepare to accept him and his touch.
Yet now, she couldn't find it in herself to accept it. She couldn't be intimate with him.
The tears rolling down Rosalie's cheeks made Sebastian anxious.
"What's wrong? Why are you crying? Did I do something wrong?" He thought he might have said something wrong.

"No, it's not your fault," Rosalie said. "I just suddenly feel very sad Perhaps I'm just very emotionally sensitive after childbirth." Sebastian immediately wiped the tears from her face. "No matter what happens, I'll always be by your side." Rosalie didn't know whether to feel happy or sad over Sebastian's words.
Sebastian had regained sof his memories.
She was now worried about him not wanting to divorce her even after regaining his memories. What's mere, she had promised him that she would never ask for a divorce if he didn't want it.
"Rose, I made you breakfast. After breakfast, the three of us-you,and the baby-can go out for sfresh air."
It had been stsince Rosalie delivered, and she was more or less fully recovered. Being cooped up at hall day wasn't good forher mood. Rosalie looked out the window and saw the bright sunshine. Going out for a stroll didn't seem like a bad idea, so she nodded.
"Sure."
