Breakfast was a feast that Sebastian prepared himself.
He was helping Rosalie with her confinement, and was doing a very meticulous job with it. He was constantly worried about her catching a cold or getting hungry.
Rosalie had thought that the real challenge cafter childbirth, since taking care of an infant was no easy task. The baby would be crying all the time, and she would have to coax it to sleep and change his diaper. Rosalie was fully prepared to lose sleep over taking care of her baby. She didn't even care about preserving her image and appearing disheveled in front of others.
What she didn't expect was to not have many chances to do all she was prepared to do. Each tthe baby cried, Sebastian would immediately rush to the infant room to carry the baby and put him back to sleep.
Rosalie didn't have much breastmilk, and her milk alone wasn't sufficient for the baby. As such, they used formula milk to supplement the baby's feedings. Each tSebastian prepared the baby's milk, he would carefully check the temperature many times, worried about scalding the baby.
One time, when Rosalie was lying in bed, she heard the baby cry over the monitor. It was around two in the morning when she was woken up by the baby's cries.
Rosalie hurriedly pushed the covers aside, all ready to rush to the infant room to check on the baby.
Just then, she heard a tender voice through the monitor. "Baby, what's the matter? Are you scared of being all alone? "Don't worry, Daddy's here. Daddy will stay here with you, sweet baby.

Let's not make things difficult for her, alright? "Daddy will sing a song for you." Through the monitor, Rosalie could hear the cries fading as the baby fell asleep once more.
Rosalie felt so touched by the scene, she had to cover her mouth with her hand to suppress her sobs.
She quietly left her room to peek at the infant room. After a while, she saw Sebastian leaving the infant room and walking back to his room.
Rosalie couldn't hold herself back, and rushed forward to hug Sebastian from behind.
Sebastian stood stunned. "Rose, why are you still awake? Did the baby wake you up? I've coaxed him back to sleep, so go back to sleep, alright? You should also turn off that baby monitor. I'm around to take care of the baby. Just focus on taking care of your health." "Don't talk," Rosalie said sharply as she leaned into his embrace. Sebastian was so frightened, he shut up immediately. After a while, Rosalie released him and said, "Thank you." Sebastian smiled tenderly at her. "Thankfor what? This is what I should be doing. Go back and rest. I'll be watching the baby." Sebastian sent Rosalie back to her room and tucked her in. He only left her room when she fell asleep. That memory would be etched forever in Rosalie's mind. Sebastian was warm, courteous and knew his boundaries, thinking of her every step of the way.
She never did end up all disheveled and messy from taking care of the baby. Rather, she remained clean and neat all day long, looking radiant like she was glowing from within.
Sebastian, on the other hand, lost a lot of weight. He didn't sleep well, and his eyes were always bloodshot.
"Rose, cand eat. The food won't taste good cold." Sebastian ate while carrying the baby.
Rosalie felt bad seeing the state Sebastian was in. "Letcarry the baby for a while." "It's fine, Rose. Have your breakfast first. I'll let you carry the baby once you're done. Otherwise, the baby will disturb you from your meal." He could have his meal disrupted, but not Rosalie. Both the baby and Rosalie were his precious darlings.
Rosalie tried to keep herself from getting emotional as she ate. She finished up quickly, and approached Sebastian once she was done. "Letcarry the baby." Sebastian was clearly unable to eat his breakfast in peace with the baby in his arms.
"Sure. Be careful," Sebastian said as he carefully handed the baby to Rosalie.
He was so careful, it looked more like he was the mother of the baby than Rosalie was.
Rosalie was almost tickled pink by the scene. As it seemed, Sebastian really adored the baby.
Rosalie carried the baby in her arms and stepped aside, coaxing the baby.
Her heart melted as she looked at her tiny baby. She couldn't help but kiss his little forehead. Yet, notdong later the baby pouted and burst out crying.
Rosalie started to panic as she tried her best to cajole the baby. "Darling, don't cry. Mommy is carrying you." Yet no matter how much Rosalie tried to comfort the baby, he continued crying.
Rosalie was starting to get anxious, and she hurriedly sought Sebastian's help.
"Am I carrying him wrong? Am I making him uncomfortable?" The baby was so small and vulnerable, she was so worried that her wrong posture might hurt him or even break his bones.

Rosalie felt dejected upon knowing that the baby she gave birth to cried when she carried him.
The indignant-look on Rosalie's face made Sebastian smile warmly at
her. "It's my bad. Don't worry, babies are notoriously hard to please at this stage You're his mother, after all. He'll ching to you after he's older, so much that you won't be able to shake him off." Sebastian's words of assurance made Rosalie feel much better.
In fact, she felt thankful for Sebastian's presence. Without him, she wouldn't know what to do all by herself. She would surely make a mess of things. In comparison, the biological father of this baby didn't even want him.
The mere thought of Theodore made Rosalie's heart throb with pain.
Theodore was probably doing great right now, and his new relationship was probably thriving.
Sydney told her that he was in contact with another woman.
Things were surely going great for them right now. For all she knewn they might even be talking about marriage already.
