Chapter 345

The previous night, Maja had gotten a rare good night’s sleep. However, she had some stuff to deal

with early in the morning. With a frown, she headed straight for the hospital.

Hattie Zimmer and Abram Pennyfeather were still kicking up a fuss on the floor, screaming,

“Somebody’s trying to kill us!” Maja’s pupils contracted, and she quickly approached.

“Are you done?”

Seeing her coming, Hattie Zimmer suddenly went quiet, then sneered.

“I’m your grandmother; you have no respect for me at all. Where’s your conscience?”

Maja took a deep breath, saw the fingerprint on one of the bodyguard’s cheek, and knew these two had

gotten physical.

“Ms. Pennyfeather.”

Since Carol hired both bodyguards and knew Maja, they were polite to her.

Maja just felt a headache, so she told them.

“If they keep this up, toss them off the building. I’ll cover the damages.”

The two bodyguards were already fed up with these two. Despite their age, they didn’t hold back when

they fought and would scratch people. The back of the bodyguards‘ hands were full of scratches.

Hearing Maja’s words, Hattie Zimmer quickly got up.

“What did you say? You’re trying to kill us! Look at this, everyone. My granddaughter threatened to

throw me and her grandfather off the building. She’s so heartless, just like her mother!”

Maja didn’t want to deal with Hattie Zimmer, but her face immediately darkened when she heard her

mention her mom. “Toss her off now. If she doesn’t die the first time, throw her again. The

Pennyfeathers are loaded. I can afford it.”

The two bodyguards looked at each other, lifted Hattie Zimmer, and walked to the window.

Hattie Zimmer initially thought Maja was just bluffing, and she didn’t expect her to actually go through

with it.

Now she was being lifted to the window, even seeing the view downstairs vaguely.

Abram Pennyfeather was still causing a scene on the floor. Seeing this, he was scared out of his wits!

“Stop it! Stop it! Maja, what are you doing!”

Frightened, he quickly got up, tried to stop the bodyguards, but heard Maja’s cold words.

“Toss him too. Every time they come, throw them.”

Abram Pennyfeather froze, seeing the bodyguards ready to throw him.

Hattie Zimmer, lifted high in the air, was trembling, almost passed out.

Abram Pennyfeather suddenly yelled, “We won’t come again! Put her down quickly. You’re trying to kill

us; you’re so heartless.”

The bodyguards looked at Maja, but Maja didn’t agree.

“Continue.”

Abram Pennyfeather pleaded, “We’ll leave now, I beg you!”

Seeing him scared stiff, Maja slightly raised her eyebrows. She would have to deal with the trouble if he

really fainted, so she signaled the bodyguards.

Hattie Zimmer was put down, extremely scared, and unable to speak.

Abram Pennyfeather kept cursing, “These bastards are infuriating. They’ll get what’s coming to them!”

Maja looked impatient. Seeing the crowd gathering around, she said, “Everyone out in three minutes. If

you come to the hospital again, I promise you’ll end up in the hospital.”

Reasoning with these goons is useless. Only fear works.

Abram Pennyfeather shivered, supporting the shaky Hattie Zimmer into the elevator.

As soon as the elevator door closed, Hattie Zimmer collapsed.

Abram Pennyfeather quickly caught her, “We’ll go back and consult with Ferris. Maja is such a jerk;

she’s heartless!”

Hattie Zimmer looked terrified, too scared to speak.

Maja sat in the hospital corridor, briefly explained to the people around, then looked at the two

bodyguards and said, “I’m sorry.” The bodyguards waved their hands, indicating they didn’t mind.

Maja went to ask the doctor about Neil’s condition, and knowing that the situation was stable, she was

relieved.

When Hattie Zimmer and Abram Pennyfeather got home, Ferris Pennyfeather anxiously awaited inside.

Seeing them come back, his eyes lit up.

“How did it go?”

Abram Pennyfeather waved his hand, obviously still a little scared.

“Enough; get your mom a glass of water first.”
