“No, Grandma would only think that we had a good relationship.”

Briana frowned and was about to say something, but Maxim had already taken her hand and walked inside.

As soon as the two entered the living room, Norma walked over with a beaming smile.

Seeing their hands held together, the smile on their faces deepened a little mor e.

“Briana, let me see if you have lost weight. Have you been working hard lately?”

Briana shook her head, “Not difficult.”

Norma pulled her down onto the sofa and said, “If work is too tiring, then don’t do it. Work is men’s business, we just need to go shopping and buy things.”

Upon hearing this, Briana couldn’t help but laugh. When Norma was young, she had worked alongside Maxim’s grandfather to establish the Yoder Group and wa

s also an infiuential shareholder in the company.

I never expected that she would become so adorable when she grew older. She even voluntarily asked her not to work and just stay at home to enjoy life.

“Grandma, if I stayed at home all the time, I would be bored.”

Seeing her persistence, Norma had to say, “Alright, as long as you like it.”

“Um.”

Briana picked up the tea on the table and took a sip. She found it to be refreshi ng and different from any tea she had ever tasted before. Unable to resist, she s quinted her eyes and said, “Grandma, what kind of tea is this? It’s delicious!”

Norma smiled and said, “This was brought back by Isaac from abroad. If you lik e it, I will have the servant pack it for you to take away later.”

Briana shook her head, “No need, I will ask my cousin another day where he bou ght it.”

“Anyway, I don’t usually drink tea much. Alice, pack up the tea leaves that Isaac gave me last ti me, and take them to Briana later.”

“Okay.”

“Grandma, thank you. Next time I come, I will bring you strawberry souffié!”

“Okay, you still know what I like!”

Norma’s loving gaze made Briana feel a little shy. The snacks she bought for Norma were all cheap and small, but this tea, once tasted, was definitely high–quality and not cheap.

Maxim, sitting across from Briana, looked at her and said, “I will go and ask late r.”

Briana nodded, “Okay.”

She was not familiar with Isaac, so if Maxim went to ask, she could save herself a lot of trouble.

The two of them accompanied Norma for dinner, and after staying for a while, t hey planned to go back.

“Briana, come to my place whenever you have free time!”

“Okay, Grandma, you rest early.”

After getting on the car, Maxim turned to Briana and said, “I just inquired about the tea and now someone is being sent to buy it. It should be available in about half a month. How do you plan to thank me?”

Briana looked up at Maxim, his eyes filled with a smile, as if he was waiting for h er to compliment him.

She pursed her l*ps and suppressed the unrealistic thought in her mind, then s poke in a calm tone, “How does Mr. Yoder want me to thank you?”

“Please treat me to a meal.”

A hint of surprise fiashed in Briana’s eyes, and she nodded immediately, saying, “Yes, I can.”

It was just a meal, nothing difficult.

“When do you plan to invite?”

“A few days later, these days the company has been busy with many matters.”

“Good!”

After Briana was dropped off at the villa, Maxim left.

After watching his car disappear from sight, Briana was startled as soon as she t urned around.

Madeline stood behind her, her eyes filled with a smile as she gazed at her.

“Why did Briana and Maxim bring you back?”

“I went to have dinner with him at Norma’s just now.”

Madeline’s eyes fiickered with confusion as she furrowed her brow and said, “Yo u two are already divorced, why do you still have to accompany him to his gran dmother’s for dinner?”

“It was not me accompanying him, but rather him accompanying me, and we re ached an agreement not to announce the news of our divorce in the short term.”

“Why?”

Briana slowly explained to the puzzled expression on Madeline’s face, “Norma i s not feeling well and just had a stay at the hospital recently. We plan to wait un til she is feeling better before announcing this matter.”
