Xie Xiu’s eyes were filled with pride. He signified the guard behind him, hinting him to leave.
The guard quickly walked out and closed the door behind him. And then guarded at the door
dedicatedly.
When there were only the two of them in the ward, Xiao Qingqing rose from the hospital bed. She
reached out her hands and coquettishly pulled Xie Xiu to the side of the bed. In a reserved manner, she
asked, “Why have you decided to come and see me today?”

chair and sat aside.

harm, wherever she’s hurt, I will hurt you in the same place too.”

Seeing how calm he was, Xiao Qingqing felt a chill down her spine.

Xie Xiu glanced at Xiao Qingqing and rejected her.

Shen Mobo looked at Xiao Qingqing with eyes full of doubts. But Xiao Qingqing did not continue. She
went on to eat the porridge, looking undaunted.
After Xiao Qingqing finished the porridge, Shen Mobo seriously asked Xiao Qingqing, “Why do you still
have chips on your shoulder about Mu Zhi? Do you still want to marry Lu Jinye?”
In response, Xiao Qingqing yawned. She laid on the hospital bed and replied certainly, “Yes.”
“Xiao Qingqing, why don’t you give up? You are pregnant with my child. Let me take care of you.”
Shen Mobo was anxious. He pulled Xiao Qingqing’s hand while telling her that.
Xiao Qingqing became unhappy in an instant. She looked at Shen Mobo and straightened her body
once again, looking like she was ready to fight her corner. “Why should I give up? Is it wrong for me to
pursue love? Don’t forget! Under what circumstances did we get laid. I don’t want to be your wife! I
have never loved you!”

want to sleep now.”
Shen Mobo did not leave. He stood there and watched Xiao Qingqing for a long time.

and his emotions had somewhat eased.
He pulled a chair and sat beside Xiao Qingqing.
“Qingqing, I apologize for my rude behavior. But I hope that you can stand in my shoes.”
“After all, I’m the child’s father. No matter the circumstances he was conceived, he is still my child.”
Xiao Qingqing opened her eyes and looked at Shen Mobo. “Do you love me?”
She asked with her eyes glaring at Shen Mobo. She did not respond to Shen Mobo’s concerns.
Shen Mobo nodded, “I do.”
“To what extent do you love me?”
“I love you more than the stars in the sky and fish in the sea.”
Shen Mobo replied.
Xiao Qingqing smiled mockingly. She stared at Shen Mobo and said, “You don’t love me. You are a
selfish person. You just want to own me. True love is about making sacrifices.”
“Do you think I’ve not made enough sacrifices?”
Shen Mobo was agitated by Xiao Qingqing’s words.
Xiao Qingqing reached out and hugged Shen Mobo. “You knew how Lu Jinye loved me back then. Just
because I made a wrong choice in the past and he resents me. All I’m asking for is a chance to right
my wrongs. I hope you can help me.”
Xiao Qingqing explained.
Shen Mobo looked at Xiao Qingqing and did not speak a word.
Her body was so soft. Due to her pregnancy, her body had become softer for unknown reasons. Her
tenderness yearned his desire for protecting her.
At last, Shen Mobo embraced Xiao Qingqing and nodded. He had agreed to help her.
