“And if I refuse?”
Master Lu frowned and asked in return.
“In that case I will only return when you have agreed.”
There was an unmistakable threat in Lu Jinye’s tone!
In that instance, Master Lu was furious and held his hand over his chest as though in pain.
The butler immediately stepped forward to support Master Lu. Lu Yunxi had also rushed into the room
in a panic. He looked at Lu Jinye helplessly and sighed. He did not think that he could persuade Lu
Jinye.

However, when she had gotten off the cab and had paid the driver, she saw that Lu Jinye had left the
manor’s compound and had gotten into the car. He saw Mu Zhi when he was about to close the door.
“Come here. Get in the car.”
Lu Jinye frowned. He looked at Mu Zhi hesitantly and called her to the car.
Mu Zhi had no option but to hurry to Lu Jinye. She pulled open the door and got in.

“How was your discussion with him?”
“It was just some work matters.”
