Mu Zhi glanced at the time. When she was preparing to leave the bed, Lu Jinye reached out to hold her
hand.
“Where are you going?”
Mu Zhi rolled her eyes at u Jinye, “This dating thing isn’t really working out. I need to pick up Mu
Xiaomu from school.”

didn’t you pick up Xiaomu?”

a sigh, pretending to be busy with setting the table.
“I’m afraid that this news will affect you.” She said.
Mu Zhi suddenly took two steps towards Lu Jinye and grabbed his hand.
She added, “Do you think you should release a statement saying that you’re purely consoling me by
going to the movies with me earlier? You can say that I’m a needy woman and I threatened you with
our child.”
“Then, stay closer with Xiao Qingqing in the coming days. Lu Jinye, I don’t mind how the public
perceives me, it doesn’t really bother me. But you’re different. You bear the Lu Group’s reputation on
your shoulders. This affects tens of thousands of jobs.”
Mu Zhi was becoming increasingly agitated.
