Chapter 348 I Believe in Love at First Sight

One of the male guests whistled, and it was followed by a series of joyful clamoring from the crowd. Mu
Zhi gawked at the stranger before her eyes, then turned to look at the crowd, seemingly at a loss.

back away, but the host of the show had gradually walked up the stage at this point, and announced to

The man who courted Mu Zhi shuffled backward a little when the host started speaking, but his eyes
remained on Mu Zhi. Meanwhile, Mu Zhi stared back at him cluelessly.
All she could do was stand still and listen to the host as he went through the rules.
“Once any woman on stage is match-made successfully, we will invite ladies of the audience to replace
the empty spot, so everyone has a chance to work for their Mr. Right.”
In conjunction with their theme of ‘true love’, Xinghao had secretly planted a few couples in the crowd to
match-making. They didn’t really need to be clear with the schedule.
Mu Zhi was not concerned about the schedule. Instead, the strange guest who confessed his love for her
out of the blue was rather worrying.
“Alright now, let’s begin our match-making! Do we have any male volunteers from the crowd?”
The host showed no regard for the man who was pestering Mu Zhi with his affection. Instead, he fixed
his attention on the men in the crowd, attempting to create a lively atmosphere.
At this moment, a man among the crowd suddenly shot his arm in the air, proclaiming to the host, “I want
to join.”
The host was anxious at first, worried that nobody would join the show. Thus, he was over the moon to
see a volunteer. He invited the volunteer on stage before turning his face back to the crowd, “Do we have
another bold volunteer?”

The man declared while looking at Mu Zhi.
Mu Zhi was startled. She scrambled to check her number only to see that it was indeed number ten.
Then, she became even more perturbed.
Seeing that the gentleman was going for number ten, another man in the crowd suddenly raised his arm,
claiming that there was a candidate he fancied as he went on stage.
When asked which one was his target, the man surprised everyone by saying, “Number ten.”
Following closely, one volunteer came after another, more enthusiastically than the company had
planned originally. However, nobody had expected that it took less than twenty minutes for five
volunteers to go on stage, and four of them expressed their interest in Mu Zhi.
The host became troubled for a moment. He glanced at the men on stage and then said, “Let’s take our
seats first. There was a guest who could not wait for the show to start before confessing his love, let us
listen to his story. Come on now!”
The man described his love at first sight feelings of Mu Zhi. He didn’t join the show in hopes of finding
true love but was pleasantly surprised when he saw Mu Zhi!
Mu Zhi had the urge to flee from the stage at the sound of his cringe-worthy speech.
However, it was too late. The show had started, and she had no way to escape right now.
She figured that she must bite the bullet to finish the show to keep her work.

It was the first time Linda witnessed such a reality show. She could not help stealing a few extra glances
in curiosity.
“Love at first sight? Is the woman a fine-looking one?”
She peered down nonchalantly as she spoke.
Upon taking a closer look, Linda was jaw-dropped to find a familiar face among the crowd!
Is that… Mu Zhi?!
No wonder the woman was highly regarded! How could a woman who once belonged to Lu Jinye be any

Linda then scurried downstairs to confirm her suspicions and learned that it was indeed Mu Zhi.
Linda woke from her daze, dashed back into the company, and knocked on Lu Jinye’s door in a fluster.
“Come in.”
Upon receiving Lu Jinye’s invitation, Linda barged into the room.
“What’s the matter? I’ve never seen you this flustered before.”
Lu Jinye glimpsed at her before returning to the work documents in his hands, seemingly unaware of
what was happening.
“Mr. Lu, it’s…” Linda stammered.
“What?”
“Miss Mu is in the middle of a match-making show downstairs! Men are queuing up to woo her!”
Linda blurted out in between her rapid panting and started to observe Lu Jinye’s reaction.
Mu Zhi match-making, under my nose?
Lu Jinye knitted his brows together. Without ascertaining that the woman was Mu Zhi, he stood to his
feet, seized his coat, and went downstairs.
What the hell does this woman think she’s doing?!
Why is she suddenly joining a match-making show out of the blue?
A dense crowd swamped the street. The extraordinary match-making show paired with the breath-taking
response by the male audience attracted the attention of many. Some even started recording videos of
the scene and putting them online!
