Chapter 1232

The next day, when Estelle stepped out of the house, Dragon, who was out for a jog, saw her and immediately

greeted her enthusiastically, “Morning!” “Morning.” Estelle responded groggily.

“Didn’t sleep well last night?” Dragon asked, puffing a little.

“All thanks to you! You wished me sweet dreams, but I ended up having a nightmare!” Estelle replied, her tone

laced with annoyance.

“But did you dream about the one you like?” Dragon asked with a grin.

Estelle didn’t respond.

“Well, if you dream about someone you like, it’s got to be a sweet dream!” Dragon laughed. “How about a cup of

coffee? It’ll perk you up!”

“You’re supposed to be a know-it-all, right? Then how about whipping up a cup of coffee for me right now?”

“Turn around!”

Estelle eyed him suspiciously, then actually turned around. Robots may have superior intelligence, but she didn’t

believe they could conjure items out of thin air. If it could, it wouldn’t be a robot but a superhuman!

“Is it ready?” Estelle asked after a while.

“Beautiful Estelle, please enjoy this delicious coffee!” Dragon announced.

Estelle turned around to see the screen retracting to reveal a cup of coffee, as if it were an automatic coffee

machine.

Surprised, Estelle walked over and picked up the coffee, and the screen immediately returned to its previous state.

She stared at the steaming cup of richly fragrant coffee, her face filled with disbelief. “How did you do that?”

“The Sky Robot Family can do anything!” Dragon said, tilting his head in pride.

Estelle was genuinely surprised. She glanced at the coffee in her hand. “Is this really drinkable?” “Unless you don’t

like the taste!” Dragon said, enticing her like a child with candy. “Give it a try!” She took a sip, looked at Dragon, and

said slowly, “It’s not bad!”

“I hope this coffee keeps your spirits up all day!” Dragon responded with a wide, toothy grin.

“Thanks, and thanks for the coffee!”

Estelle turned around and waved. “See you tonight!”

“See you tonight!” Dragon called after her.

Estelle headed downstairs. She was running a bit late. Emily had made her a sandwich for the road.

Seeing Estelle with coffee, Emily asked suspiciously, “Why are you drinking coffee so early?”

__”My-neighbor gave it to me!” Estelle teased.

“You have a new neighbor?” Emily looked surprised.

“Yep, a robot!” Estelle chuckled.

“A robot?” Emily was puzzled.

Estelle didn’t elaborate. She grabbed her sandwich and said goodbye to Emily.

She had left her car behind yesterday, so she had to take the subway to work and parted ways with Emily midway.

When she arrived at the studio, Mr. Tucker called her into his office.

He poured her a cup of coffee and apologized, saying, “Estelle, believe it or not, I had no idea about what happened

yesterday. They just said they wanted to discuss the movie. I had no clue it would turn into such a mess. I feel

terrible about it.”

Estelle gave him a warm and understanding smile. “I know you wouldn’t deceive me, and I’m fine. Don’t worry too

much.”

Mr. Tucker looked irate. “I’ve decided to cut ties with people like that. It’s better to have nothing to do with them at

all.”

He looked at Estelle with concern. “You were lucky Mr. Lamont was there. Be careful if you come across someone

like David again.”

Considering Jonathan’s outburst last night, he and Estelle must have some kind of relationship. But the dynamics

between them seemed both close and distant, so he didn’t probe.

Estelle was intelligent. She would understand his meaning with just a slight hint. As long as she was fine, Jonathan

wouldn’t lose his cool.

Estelle nodded and stood up. “I should get going. Don’t worry too much, Mr. Tucker.”

“Alright!” Mr. Tucker nodded. “Estelle, thank you for trusting me.”

“Don’t mention it, trust is a two-way street.”
