Chapter 363 To ensure things stayed fair, the dorm supervisor took charge of the search.
Two counselors stood at the door with Flora, Odelia, and a few others, watching the scene unfold. The ruckus was loud enough to stir up almost everyone on the floor, but the dorm supervisor was quick to shoo away any onlookers. They could only sneak peeks from their own doorways.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtKaylee, also a student at the Fashion Design Institute, had her dorm on the sfloor. Despite the commotion outside, she sat calmly in her chair, engrossed in her book. She preferred the quiet and wasn't one for . But when she heard Flora's nmentioned, she finally put down her book and walked out. Her dorm was at one end of the hallway, while Odelia's was at the other. She made her way down the long corridor to Flora's side and peeked into the room, seeing the dorm supervisor rifling through things. Instantly, she understood what was going on.
In a low voice, she asked, "Flora, is this about the speech?" Flora turned her head, raised an eyebrow, and chuckled. "Kaylee, you've gotten sharp." At the ceremony, Kaylee noticed Flora didn't have her speech and felt something was off. Schools always provide students with their speeches. Many thought Flora didn't have her speech because she was brilliant and chose to improvise. But Kaylee knew Flora too well-she was a bit lazy. She wouldn't bother improvising; she'd stick to the script. So, there was only one explanation: the speech was lost.
Flora wasn't careless; she wouldn't lose something as important as a speech. Clearly, someone had sabotaged her. And it seemed that someone was from this dorm.
Odelia was gripping her fingers tightly, trembling with fear. Her anxiety peaked as she saw the dorm supervisor's hand reach for the books on her shelf. She was on the verge of panic.
"Is this what you're looking for?" the dorm supervisor said, pulling a thin piece of paper from between the books. She opened it, saw the word "speech" on it, and handed it to the counselors. They took one look and their expressions turned icy.
Daria, Odelia's counselor, slapped the paper against her face. "Explain towhy the speech is with you!" "I... I don't know... Maybe someone framed me! Yes! Someone framed me!" Odelia stammered, sweating profusely, knowing she was done for.

The finally cto an end.
As they walked back to their dorms, Cynthia looked at Flora with om admiration. "Flora, you're amazing! How did you know Odelia would still hide the speech in her dorm?" They all found it odd. If Odelia had stolen the speech, why not just get rid of it?
Flora raised an eyebrow, her eyes narrowing as she glanced at Jillian, a knowing smile playing on her lips.
Because speople like to keep evidence to frothers, right, Jillian?"
She deliberately slowed down the last two words, making them sound eerie, Jillian's hair stood on end. X
