"Did you even heartalking?" Rafael had been rambling on for a while, but Flora didn't respond, her eyes seemingly drifting elsewhere, barely glancing at the screen. Flora was busy chatting with Connor on her computer. Hearing Rafael, she shot him a quick look. "Done talking? Then I'm hanging up." Rafael, catching the occasional clatter of keyboard strokes from her side, asked, "What are you doing? Chatting with Connor?" Flora nodded lazily.
Rafael's face scrunched up in accusation. "I'm talking to you, and you're not even paying attention, just chatting with him! Who's more important, him or me?" The makeup artist nearly yanked out a chunk of Rafael's hair in surprise.
Was this the swild and aloof Rafael they knew? It was the first tseeing him act so childishly... like he was competing for attention.
"Hanging up." Facing Rafael's sulky and accusing gaze, Flora calmly and indifferently ended the video call.

Mr. Abbott strolled into the classroom, clutching a laptop.
Mr. Abbott was responsible not only for the computer courses in the Medical Department but also for specialized courses in the Computer Science Department.
Most of the students in the Computer Science department were male, making the classroom atmosphere much more subdued.
Unlike the Medical Department, where students mostly used lab computers, each student in the Computer Science department had their own high-performance laptop. Standing at the podium, Mr. Abbott announced softly, "I've reviewed your assignments, and none of them meet the standards. Redo them and submit them again." This declaration left the students stunned.
Mr. Abbott had been teaching them since their freshman year, and it was the first the'd ever returned all their assignments, asking for a redo.
"Mr. Abbott, did something happen to you?" asked Ivan, the class president.
The students nodded in agreement. Heartbreak, maybe? "Yes, something did happen," Mr. Abbott said sternly. "I've decided to hold you to stricter standards starting today! Even the freshmen in the Medical Department are doing better than you. Aren't you ashamed?" The assignment Mr. Abbott had given them was the sweb page he had asked Flora to create, and out of the whole class of more than fifty students, not one did better than Flora.
Their work wasn't bad; as sophomores, they were already outperforming many seasoned professionals. In the past, Mr. Abbott would have given high marks, but now, with Flora setting such a high standard, their work seemed lacking.
"Mr. Abbott, I understand you want to motivate us, but what you're saying sounds a bit far-fetched." A freshman from the Medical Department did better than them? That seemed impossible.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmSeeing their disbelief, Mr. Abbott didn't elaborate. He pulled up the source file Flora had worked on before and shared it in the class group.
"See for yourselves." With curiosity, the students opened the file Mr. Abbott had sent.
Half a minute later, the classroom erupted with gasps and exclamations.
"Teacher, was this really done by a freshman from the Medical Department?" Ivan swallowed hard. He couldn't write such comprehensive and meticulous code...
And beyond the ability to write code, what mattered more in web page a more i design was the sense of design.
He had friends in the Design Department who also studied web design, and even as juniors, they couldn't produce work with such a strong design sense. "Mr. Abbott, are you sure this was done by a freshman from the Medical Department?"
The students' expressions were a mix of confusion and awe. For m someone eone sg proficient in computing, Why study in the Medical Department? If her hobby was this impressive, where did that leave them, the professionals? "I watched her do it. Start to finish, it took exactly twenty minutes." Like RICH WOMEN?
