Harvey smiled.

"So you guys just sat still while he kept sending assassins after you?"
Kairi chuckled.
"Of course not.
"The ten Poison Masters under my belt have all taken action.
"They disappeared completely after that, while Faceless remained completely unscathed.
"Under such circumstances, it's hard to get a conclusion for this battle.
"Faceless announced that if he dies, he'd drag us with him.
"After you dealt with the Braff family's problem, we've decided to fight him to the death.
"Golden Sands belongs to the Hermit Families. We must not let Evermore get his hands on the secrets of this city."
Harvey nodded. He wasn't that well-versed in the city's history, but judging from Kairi's words, he could tell a lot of
blood had been shed.
"Did Blaine show himself yet?" he asked.
"He did." Kairi smiled playfully.
"He made an announcement, saying that the crisis would affect Golden Sands's economy and put the city in great
danger. He even reached out to Wolsing, telling them to be careful.
"He suggested we find a simple way to solve the situation.
"He asked both sides to stop killing each other, as a way to show the John family respect.
"He told us to settle this in the ring if we really want to win.
"Whoever wins would have the right to speak.

Kairi's face went slightly red after seeing Harvey finish the tea she gave him. She was probably embarrassed at the

Harvey smiled calmly; he didn't grasp her thoughts, so he didn't realize it.
If he wanted to, he could've figured out Blaine's plan with ease.
But since he wanted to pretend to be a geomancy expert to lure Blaine out, he didn't do anything out of the
ordinary.
"It seems as if Blaine's standing out for the benefit of Golden Sands. He looks like he's trying to suppress the chaos
and keep the losses of the city to a minimum, but...
