Beatrice clenched her hands even tighter, “Hammer, I never thought you would be so loyal. My mother said that
you are the only person she can trust in these difficult times.”
Hearing this, Hammer looked slightly moved, “Miss Beatrice, rest assured, I will do everything I can to get your
mother out of this situation. I have already contacted a top lawyer and prepared to appeal. Did your mother have a
message for me?”
Beatrice’s nails were digging into her palms. It seemed like she had finally made up her mind. “My mother said
Agnes is becoming too much of a problem. She wants you to eliminate Agnes.”
Yes, she wanted Agnes dead. Once Agnes was gone, everything would be over.

Beatrice snapped back, “Are you saying you don’t believe me? My mother said if you can’t kill Agnes, don’t bother
visiting her. Just make it look like an accident and clean up the mess.”
With that, Beatrice turned and left.
She knew Hammer would do it, because Hammer was a loyal fool. First to Cilian, now to Laura.
Beatrice had changed Laura’s plan without her knowledge, she couldn’t take it anymore.
The name ‘Agnes‘ weighed on her chest like a mountain, suffocating her every second of every day. Agnes was a
