Before the truth could be confirmed, Hayden knew that he needed to investigate the hotel where Layla had her wedding.
He called the diver over, and as the car drove off, Elliot and Avery turned to look at one another in confusion. "Hayden has juste hand hasn't even gotten to rest, so where is he going?" Elliot asked curiously.
"I don't know. It looks like there's something on his mind," Avery said.

"Do you think Hayden is the father?" Avery asked. "Do you think that's possible?" "Why wouldn't it be possible? You even suspectedwhen I practically spend every single day with you. How often does Haydene home? Why won't you suspect him instead?" Elliot was still upset that his entire family had suspected him.
Though Avery had allowed him to stay in the master bedroom the night before, the mental damage he suffered remained.
"What do you expectto do? Hayden is an adult now, so even if he is seeing a woman and ends up getting her pregnant, I can't scold or lecture him! How can youpare yourself to him?" Avery asked and glanced at the door. "I will ask him about it when he gets home." "I will check on the baby." Elliot was confident that the baby was his grandchild and the disgust he felt toward the baby vanished.
In the hotel, Hayden spoke to the manager of the customer service department and told him to find the woman who had offered him the glass of ice water on the night of Layla's wedding.
"Mr. Tate, do you have to find this person? I will need to go through the shift arrangements from ten months ago and even then I might not find her," the manager said. "The turnover rate in this department is exceptionally high because it's a tough job with relatively low pay." "You haven't even looked into it and you are already saying that you can't find her?" Hayden scowled. "Look into it now!" The manager immediately nodded and asked gingerly, "Mr. Tate, can you tellwhy you are looking for this woman? Has she done something to you?" "Just find her!" Hayden said.
Hayden saw no reason to disclose anything as they might not be able to locate the woman.
"Sure." An idea formed in the manager's mind. "Mr. Tate, why don't I show you the photos of all e our employees? I'm sure you remember the face of the person you are looking for, right?" Hayden thought back to it.

The manager took Hayden to his office and opened his laptop to show Hayden all the employees' information before letting Hayden take his seat.
Hayden sat down and started going through the employees' profiles.
Soon, he had gone through everything but could not find the woman he was looking for.
"Do you have the information of et felove employees who quit in the past ten months?" Hayden asked. "The woman I'm looking for isn't here, so she must have quitted." The manager pulled out a list on the screen. "Here's a list of the employees who quit." Hayden glanced at the list and asked, "Are there no photos?" "There are but I will need to dig around. Do you still remember what she looks like? Is she pretty? I remember most of the employees who work under me- at least for the past year." "She's average," Hayden said.
Hayden had high standards, so any woman he considered average would be a beauty in others' eyes.
