"Why do you also have aputer in here?" Shelly stared at theputer in the room and wondered why there was a need for
twoputers in an office.
"That's for gaming," Hayden said.
Lunch for Hayden was a three-course meal.
"I will get Eliam to send in another set. You can start first," Hayden said.
Shelly refused without hesitation, "It's served on your personal tableware, right? You should eat. | can wait."
Hayden blushed. "Sorry, | ot."
He proceeded to eat and Shelly opened the jar containing the kimchi.
"It's fine. | know that you are just trying to getto eat first," she said.
Hayden picked out a piece of kimchi and placed it into his mouth; it was crunchy and slightly sweet which gave way to sourness
and ended on a spicy note.
Hayden could not help but reach for another piece.

don't. | don't mind at all," Shelly said because Hayden remained expressionless after eating the first piece.
If someone liked something, they would usually express their liking immediately after taking a bite.
"It's quite delicious," Hayden replied. "Please thank your mother forwhen you get home. I'll keep this jar of kimchi."
Shelly smiled happily at the realization that it seemed to suit his taste.
"My mother also pickled sgreen beans and sweet garlic cloves. | can bring sfor you to try next time. They taste similar."
"Great, thank you." Hayden accepted her kind offer.
"I didn't expect you to enjoy eating these inexpensive things."
"l also eat normal stuff every day. I'm only human," Hayden explained seriously.
Shelly blushed and looked at the dishes on the table, before asking, "Did you get your lunch from a restaurant?"
"l ordered it from a restaurant near thepany," Hayden said. "Sometimes | eat at thepany cafeteria too."
"Oh."
"How do you have your meals?" Hayden asked.
"I bring my own lunch." Shelly felt that she was bing less nervous around him. "There's a microwave in the office, so | just
heat it up in the afternoon. It's very convenient."
"Do you wake up early every day to cook?"
"No. | made a little extra the night before and put it in the fridge. | can't wake up too early in the morning," Shelly explained.
"Isn't leftover food not very nutritious?"
Hayden had never eaten leftovers before, but he knew that many office workers, like Shelly, cooked their own meals, and even if it
was leftovers, it was still more hygienic than takeout.
"It should be fine since it's not more than 24 hours. The main thing is that my mother's cooking is delicious. I've grown tired of
takeout and can't quite get used to it." Shelly's smile was sweet and innocent.
"Is your mother currently taking care of you?"
Shelly hesitated for a moment, then nodded.
At that moment, Eliam appeared, bringing a plate of pasta along with two side dishes and a plate of sliced fruit.
The food Eliam brought filled the table.

"Eliam, would you like to eat with us? My portion is too much for me, so | can give you half," Shelly offered.
Eliam chuckled, "Hahaha, I'm fine. You guys carry on. Don't worry about me."
With that, Eliam left.
