Faron said at once, "Boss, you calledyourself. It's only natural forto act as soon as possible." "Why did you cas well, though?" Elsa only needed to send out a team of officers, but she had shown up herself.
Elsa shrugged. "It's been stressful forthese days, so | cout to get sfresh air." Wilbur looked around him and saw that the crowd was still there. "Okay. Say a few things to these people and have them go hafter this." Elsa poked Faron, who walked up to Wilbur and turned to face the crowd. "Don't worry, everyone. We're determined to weed out every last criminal and hooligan here so all of you will get the safety and peace you deserve. You can all go hnow. If there's anything you'd like to report, please head to our department in town and we'll tend to you at once and promise to take all your reports seriously." The crowd erupted into cheers, leaving gleefully.
Just then, Wilbur's gaze landed on a rather forlorn-looking Kenneth.

Kenneth walked over, and Wilbur said to Elsa and Faron, "This is Kenneth Nupherson, head of the police department here. He's been stationed here for over a decade and done as well as he could. I'm sure he knows a great deal about what happened. You should add him to your team investigating this case." Faron and Elsa understood at once, and Faron said, "Of course. You'll be transferred to work in town, then. Someone will arrange everything for you." Kenneth seemed surprised, but he knew that was Wilbur's way of protecting him.
During the entire journey into town, all Kenneth could think about was who on earth Wilbur was to have enough power to do all of this.
He would probably have a heart attack if he found out who Faron and Elsa really were.
After everything was over, Wilbur headed to the nearest restaurant. He ordered a feast for everyone and called for Xavi and Bentley to join.
The six of them sat in the sroom, enjoying their lunch.
Xavi and Bentley had also realized just how powerful Wilbur was and had more than regained their appetites.
The other four began to chat as they ate.

Elsa sighed. "There's been a sudden spike in missing pet cases around Seechertown, as well as crimes in general. Everyone seems really riled up. We're getting more cases each day!" "But the Special Forces aren't in charge of that though, are they?" The Special Forces department was only supposed to tackle the big cases. Why were they being put on petty cases like this? Elsa said, "Well, there's a severe manpower shortage among the police, and they had no choice but to ask us for help. I've had to run all over town these days. I'm spent." "I guess things really are that bad, then. I'm sorry you have to bear through this," said Wilbur.
Elsa shrugged. "It's not like there's anything | can do about it." Wilbur then turned to look at Xavi and Bentley. "Do you two want to stay or go back? You're free to do either." "We're staying, and finishing whatever Cape assigned to us," the two of them said at once.
Wilbur smiled. "Alright, then. Do a good job, and you'll be going back to a promotion and a raise for sure." "Thank you, Mister Penn. We won't let you down." Both men were filled with confidence then, perking up visibly.
Wilbur nodded. "I'll be going back after lunch and leave you two to it." "Sure." Just then, Skyler said, "Boss, there's a whole gold mine here." "What do you mean by that?" Wilbur asked, confused.
Skyler coughed. "Felix's illegal mining has done a great deal of damage to the local ecosystem. | was thinking of buying the gold mine here and doing the mining legally, getting a proper permit and all. I'll give a part of the profit back to Twelven Town, so they can do whatever they want with it. Maybe improve overall security or even their tourism business. It's a win-win situation."
