Chapter 966: No Matter What, This Wedding Must Happen The woman in red widened her pupils, a sly smile curling at the corners of her lips. She looked at Tina as though admiring a masterpiece she had waited years to perfect. Slowly, she uttered, "Of course, it's because of you." Tina frowned, but before she could respond, a gust of wind swept toward her from behind.

The black-cloaked figure, who had vanished earlier, launched a sneak attack, rushing straight at her.

Tina countered with a swift palm strike, her inner strength surging forward.

Yet, the attacker's move had been a diversion. In the split second Tina retaliated, the figure flashed toward Claudia, attempting to abduct her.

Jared stepped forward with a powerful strike, but Claudia unexpectedly threw herself in the way, blocking the blow. This gave the cloaked figure the opportunity to escape.

The black-cloaked figure, carrying a heavily injured Claudia, formed a hand seal. Their form blurred, and in an instant, they vanished before everyone's eyes.

All that remained in the air was the sound of the wind.

The group stood frozen in shock.

They... had disappeared into thin air.

Tina exchanged a glance with Jared.

It was beyond imagination-someone in the world had the ability to teleport.

If I hadn't stepped in, you wouldn't have lasted one." Velma rolled her eyes. "Alright, alright, we all know you're amazing!" Paula chimed in immediately, "Of course, he is. He's my man, after all. If he didn't have real skills, I wouldn't want him." Velma: "..." This girl's love-addled brain might be beyond saving.

Hayden: "..." Could she not say that in front of everyone? His face was burning.

At that moment, Hayden's phone rang. He answered briefly and then handed it to Tina. "It's Serena. She wants to talk to you." On the other end, Courtney's voice was urgent. "Boss, the wedding venue was ambushed. Don't cover for now. We've evacuated everyone." Tina's voice grew cold. "Were there injuries?" Courtney replied, "Those with combat skills are fine, but several others sustained minor injuries. Mr. Reed and his child were among them-they've been taken to the hospital." When the call ended, Tina frowned. "Hugo, he..." Jared, sensing her unease, pulled her tightly into his arms. "Tina, with Mom and Master Tam there, they'll be okay." Hayden, covered in dirt and debris from the explosions, looked like he had just stepped off a battlefield. "Mr. Farrell, the venue is destroyed. Shouldn't we postpone the wedding?" Jared's voice dropped, commanding and resolute. "Even if knives fall from the sky, this wedding is happening today." Everyone: "..." We know you're eager, but isn't this a bit much? The bride isn't going anywhere.

Hayden flinched, muttering softly, "But the venue is gone. How are we supposed to..." Jared turned his gaze to Tina, eyes blazing with determination. "Then we'll get married right here." "Nathan, bring the rings." Tina was stunned by how domineering Jared was at this moment. It made him even more irresistible to her.

Paula stood frozen in shock.

"Mr. Jared," Velma began, adopting a formal tone. "Do you take Ms. Tina as your wife? Through poverty and hardship, will you promise to love and cherish her, forsaking all others, for the rest of your life?" Jared gazed at Tina with deep affection. "I do. Tina, I'm entrusting my life to you. You must take full responsibility for me." Velma turned to Tina. "Ms. Tina, do you-" "I do," Tina interrupted.

Velma: "..." Girl, we know you're smitten, but could you at least pretend to hesitate? "Now, please exchange rings." Nathan handed over the rings. Each took one and slid it onto the other's ring finger, binding them together for life.

Jared wrapped his arm around Tina's slender waist and leaned in for a deep, passionate kiss.

In that moment, the world seemed to fade away, leaving only the two of .O them. Velma was nearly in tears from excitement. She couldn't believe she NO had officiated Tina and Jared's wedding. This was something she could brag about to her Class 22D friends forever. Meanwhile, Paula was green with envy, her gaze fixed on Hayden. Feeling her intense stare, Hayden's scalp tingled. Hayden broke out in a cold sweat. The wedding was Tina's, so why was he suddenly involved? Paula squinted, a sly smile playing on her lips. If you don't propose, I'll buy a loudspeaker and play your love confession on repeat outside your house. Let everyone know just how much you like me." Hayden: "..." Jared, help!
