Chapter 519 I Love You

“Don’t be ridiculous. Since when did I like Savanna?”

Rex retorted upon the nurse.

Rex did like Savanna, but because of their special relationship, he did not dare to tell her about his love, afraid of

causing unnecessary trouble.

But the nurse ignored Rex and said in surprise, “So she’s called Savanna. She is beautiful, and her

name is good.”

Hearing this, Rex warned seriously, “Don’t tell her. I don’t want her to know.”

“So she doesn’t know your feelings for her. Poor you.” The nurse showed a sympathetic look.

Rex did not say anything. Seeing Savanna and Brandon were devoted to each other, he knew that she

would never be his.

Rex’s feelings for Savanna could only be buried deep in the bottom of his heart unless a miracle happened.

“Dr. Barton, is that really impossible? What if… What if something happens and they get divorced?”

the nurse asked, her eyes rolling.

“How is that possible?” Rex smiled bitterly.

Rex didn’t expect what the nurse said to turn out to be a prophecy.

After the infusion, Tye went to sleep again, but he woke up that night.

The high fever made Tye exhausted. As soon as he woke up, he wanted something to eat.

Brandon rode his bicycle to a nearby restaurant and bought some light yet nourishing food.

The oatmeal had a soft, mild flavor, which was very suitable for people who had just recovered from

serious illnesses.

Savanna blew the oatmeal to cool it and fed it to Tye patiently. “Baby, take your time. Eat slowly.”

While feeding Tye, Savanna carefully used a tissue to wipe the corners of Tye’s mouth.

Savanna was very gentle. The nurse who came for an inspection could not help but sigh no wonder Rex, who was

such a good man, had a deep love for Savanna.

procedures, they left the ward and appeared at the elevator entrance together.

The nurse station was diagonally opposite the elevator entrance. The nurse was on duty. When she saw the family

of three leaving, she secretly took a photo and sent it to Rex’s iMessage.

“Dr. Barton, the girl you like is gone.”

Rex did not reply, but the nurse knew that he was looking at the photo because she could see the word “typing” on

the chat box.

At that time, Rex was listening to a lecture.

Rex had been staying in this hospital for a one–month learning exchange.

Rex sat among a group of doctors. When he saw the photo sent by the nurse, his eyelids unconsciously drooped

down, covering his sad eyes.

In the photo, the family of three was waiting for the elevator. Brandon held Tye, who had just recovered from a high

fever, in one hand, and entwined the fingers of the other hand with

Savanna’s.

The family of three was happy. The combination of a handsome man, a beautiful woman, and a cute boy was

enviable.

Rex had feelings for Savanna. When he saw this happy photo, he felt as if a knife were being twisted

in his heart.

He wished he could have a chance to stand next to Savanna.

People who had just recovered from serious illnesses had the strongest virus in their bodies. After returning home,

Savanna was afraid that Roya would be infected, so she separated the two children.

Savanna took care of Tye, who had just recovered from a high fever, and Lizeth looked after Roya.

Early the next morning, Savanna sent Tye to school. After she went home, she changed her clothes and sprayed

alcohol on her body for sterilization. After confirming that the viruses were killed, she entered Roya’s room.

Lizeth was with Roya in the room.

“Is Roya sleeping?” Roya closed her eyes, her cheeks were red, and her small mouth was slightly

open. Savanna subconsciously lowered her voice.

Lizeth nodded. “After drinking milk in the morning, she felt sleepy again, so I brought her here and put her down for

a nap.”

Savanna walked over and sat by the bed. She gently touched her daughter’s forehead. “Did she cry last night?”

“Roya is a clever child. She knew that you had something to do, so she was very obedient last

night.”

Seeing her daughter’s sleeping face, Savanna felt warm. She bent down and gently kissed her daughter on the

forehead.

“Good girl, I love you.”

Seeing that Roya had fallen asleep, Savanna and Lizeth walked quietly out of the room.

“Ms. Thompson, you haven’t had breakfast yet, right? I made breakfast for you. It’s in the thermal container. I’ll

bring it for you.”

After Lizeth finished speaking, she let Savanna sit at the table and went into the kitchen to bring the

There were fried eggs, shrimp, and some chicken soup.

“Tye has been sick these days. You are tired and become thin. I specially made chicken soup for

you.”

Lizeth pushed the hot chicken soup to Savanna. Savanna was greeted by its rich flavor.

“It smells good.” Savanna tasted the soup. It had just been done. There was a thin layer of oil on the

surface. It was not greasy or bland.

“Is there any more? I’ll take some to Brandon later. He’s been very tired these days.”

As Brandon had looked after Tye in the hospital these days, many things in the company waited to

be dealt with. After Tye was discharged, Brandon got up early in the morning and went to the

company.

Brandon was busy at home and in the company. It was hard for him.

Lizeth smiled and replied, “I knew you would say that, so I specially made some more. Enjoy it. I’ll go and prepare

some for Mr. Cassel.”

“Thank you, Lizeth.” Savanna nodded and continued to enjoy the soup.

After Savanna finished the soup, Lizeth came back with a packaged soup bowl.

“Ms. Thompson, the soup has been packed.”

Savanna checked her makeup and clothes in the mirror. After making sure that she looked good, she took the soup

and drove to the company.

The security guard at the door saw Savanna and immediately greeted her with a smile, “Ms. Thompson, what

brings you here today?”

Savanna shook the soup in her hand.

“Oh, you bring something good for Mr. Cassel.” The security guard immediately understood.

Savanna nodded with a smile and took the elevator to Brandon’s office. Unexpectedly, Brandon

wasn’t there.

Brandon, who had said early in the morning that he would go to the company, was not in his office.
