“Gotcha.” Astrid knew why Elio didn’t dare come up the moment she saw the excited Magee. After all,

“Dad, I’m so touched! You actually gave up something as important as fishing to come see me!” Astrid

tightly hugged Magee’s arm as they walked into the house.

Magee glanced at her room and started complaining right away, “Look at this dump! How can anyone

live here? Why don’t you stay in that big villa? Our bathroom is bigger than this room!”

“It’s smaller and easier to handle, also very cozy.” Astrid led Magee to the couch, whispering, “Roman

is still asleep. Let’s keep it down.”

Magee said, “That lazybones, still not up at this hour! I was thinking of taking him fishing!”

Magee remained silent for a while and said, “Star, I just want you to be safe and happy. The Lampard

family is not easy to deal with. Elio might truly care for you, but unless he can fully protect you and

Roman, I won’t let you have any further contact with him or anyone from the Lampard family.”
