Fabian and Evan heard the noise and simultaneously lifted their eyes to look over.
The moment the door opened, the rowdy noise outside poured into the room, and then it disappeared the moment
the door closed.
Fabian looked at Madeline who came in through the door, and this time, he was not even surprised.
“You’re an excellent stalker,” Fabian exclaimed with a half-smile.
When Evan saw Madeline’s face, he was not foreign at all. “Miss Montgomery? Did you come because of Lily?”
Madeline looked at the two young men in front of her who had drunk some alcohol and were now slightly tipsy. She

himself another glass. After that, he forthrightly downed the content of the glass in front of Madeline.
Madeline furrowed her charming eyebrows. “Mr. Johnson, you’re not related to me, so I can’t control what you want
to do. I came here to understand my daughter’s situation.”
“Fab told me about this just now. Your daughter has been abducted by that man named Carter Gray. I just met
Carter today, and he…”
“Evan!”
Fabian suddenly called out and interrupted Evan who was still speaking.
Evan had just been continuing the conversation with Madeline, but he had not expected Fabian to react so intensely.
Evidently, Fabian was still very hostile toward Madeline.
However, Madeline was surprised when she heard that. She looked at Evan. “Did you just say you met Carter? How
did you meet him?”

“Why did he ask someone to contact you? Why did he want to find you?”

“He asked me to find a specialist for him. It seems that he wants to treat someone.”

“Alright, alright, I’ll stop. I’m not going to say anything now. Don’t be mad, okay? Please don’t be mad.”
He comforted and then poured another glass for Fabian.
“Have some more to calm your anger.”
Fabian sat back down angrily and picked up the wine glass again.
However, he drank too fast and he started coughing. “Cough, cough.”
When Madeline saw this, she did not know how to describe how she was feeling now.
“Fabian, the rest aside, I know you and I are equally worried about Lily on this matter. I also want to know where
she is. Since your friend knows something about Carter, please allow him to tell me. Is that okay?”
Madeline pleaded earnestly.
Fabian laughed when he heard that. “Eveline, are you begging me?”
