Chapter 1089
It was Keegan calling, probably because he had seen the news on the internet. Stella tried to leave to answer the
call, but Zachery glanced at her. Then, a man came forward and snatched her phone away.
"What are you doing?" Stella frowned and asked.
"Since you don't want to post the apology, we'll post it for you," said Zachery, who was ready to go through her
phone.
Stella turned red. She picked up a cup of coffee on the table nearby and threw it at Zachery's face. Zachery cursed
as he wiped off the coffee from his eyes, while Stella grabbed her phone with a cold expression and said, "My
agency will handle the post. The document I signed with your company is just a business cooperation contract. You
have no right to dictate what I do with my personal social media account."

believe me. Don’t accuse me of doing something I didn't do just because people are talking about it in the
comments. If I were the one who pushed Bella down the stairs, then I would die a horrible death. But, if she was the
one who did it to herself, then she deserves the broken leg."
Zachery was so angry that his face turned red. He was about to say something when Stuart interrupted him. "Mr.
Jensen, it's too early to make this kind of decision. If we force her to apologize now, things will get complicated
when the truth comes out."
"She's your responsibility!" Zachery pushed Stuart's hand away and said in a cold voice.
At the same time, Shea entered the room and saw that Zachery was ready to leave. She took a few glances at him
and withdrew her gaze. From Stella's expression, she could tell that something unfavorable must have happened
while she was gone.
Before Shea could come up with theories about what had happened, Stuart called out to Stella and said in a low
voice, "Stay home and rest for the next two days. I'll update you if there's any progress."
Stella wanted to explain herself but decided not to when she saw how tired Stuart looked. The more she tried to
clear herself without any proof, the more it would look like she was guilty. 'I shouldn't waste my time here,' thought
Stella. She entered the car and called Keegan.
"Where are you right now?" Keegan asked as soon as the call connected.
"I'm in the car, and I'm about to go home."
"Don't go back to your place. Your address has been doxed online. There are journalists stationed all around
Clouditude International. You won't be able to get in."
Stella was stunned. She laughed wryly, thinking about how much she had underestimated Bella's influence on her
huge fan base.

"I'll send you a location. Ask the driver to take you there. I'll be there in a bit."
"I didn't push her," Stella said softly.
"I know," Keegan replied.
"But, I did kick her off the ship when we were on the cruise last time."
Keegan chuckled and whispered, "I know that too."
Stella was silent for a while before she said, "You mentioned that Bella saved someone significant to you, but you
didn't tell me who it was. And I won't ask you about it now, but I want to know... Are you going to intervene if I go
against Bella?"
Stella did not wait for Keegan to respond. Instead, she continued, "If you do, at least let me do what I need to, and
you can do what you need to afterward. I have to take my anger out on her even if I don't win in the end."
Hearing that, Keegan sighed and said, "Don't worry. I won't get in the way. I've already paid back what's due to her
long ago. But it's better if you keep your hands clean. I'll deal with the payback."
