“But he was too late. I’d already tempered with the surveillance footage.” Xavier paused for a moment.
“Mr. Kane suspected you?”
Trevor loosened his tie. “Keegan isn’t stupid. I testified for Stella. How can he not be
suspicious? He’d definitely immediately go and check the surveillance footage when he knew Aurora got
beaten up.”
“Mr. Kane didn’t go and check the surveillance footage. He wanted to destroy it, just like us,” said Xavier.
Trevor stopped moving. After a while, he said, “Are you sure he wanted to go and destroy the footage?”

Xavier knew exactly how protective Trevor was of Jaylene.

Jaylene.
They would secretly pour her water out, ripped her homework, and intentionally grabbed her braid in the
class. They would even put worms in her bag.
They enjoyed all these lame tricks.
Even if she reported it to the teachers, the kids were only asked to write apology letters and they would
get away with it. After that, they teased her more aggressively.
And there was a time when Jaylene was sick at school. The medicine that she always carried could not

the school. And they pulled those kids that always bullied Jaylene out of their class.
They brought the kids to the top floor of the school. They pushed the kids one by one from upstairs in

way of being tied.

Soon, all six of the kids were hanging outside of the top floor’s fence.
Some of the kids were scared and screaming. The ropes swung when they struggled. It was possible
that they would just fall anytime. Some of them were so scared that they fainted.
There were six lives. The school could not just sweep it under the rug like before. They hastily called the
police.
The situation was only under control when the police arrived.
Trevor was very cooperative with the police. He was very obedient when he got arrested.
The Saun family paid compensation to the kids’ families. And Trevor was still a minor at that time. So, he
was released after he being detained for only three days.
