Chapter 961
Duncan thought of something, and he chuckled. "No one in particular. The way she looks just makes me feel like
I've seen her somewhere before."
The bride said in a low voice, 'Fortunately, I stopped you from talking to Yara about it that time. Can you imagine
how awkward things would be?"
Duncan smiled. "How wise of my wife."
The bride hit him, and Duncan stopped being cheeky. He chatted with everyone for a while before going to
entertain other guests.
Then, somebody came over and said a few words to Marshall as soon as they left. Marshall turned to Stella and
said, "They need my help with something. I'll be back in a while."
Stella nodded and touched her face confusedly.
She wondered if the reason why so many people looked at her strangely was due to the makeup on her face.
However, that did not stop her from teasing Keegan.

So, he did not speak much when others at the table were chatting. Instead, he picked up his utensils and dug in.
He was about to pick up a piece of spare rib with his fork, but he saw another fork going for the same piece.
Keegan frowned.
On the other hand, Stella pretended to be surprised. "I'm sorry."
Keegan did not say anything. He moved his fork away and went for another dish.
Stella put that piece of spare rib on Keegan's plate. "You can have it first."
Keegan stared at her fork. He brought his brows so close together that they could have squeezed a fly to death.
'What is wrong with this person? Did she just put a piece of spare rib on my plate with her own fork?'
Keegan did not touch the spare rib. Instead, he ate a different dish.
Felicity glared at Stella and thought to herself, 'Where did this bitch come from? How dare she seduce my bestie's
man? Does she have a death wish? I
She wanted to inform Stella about it. But, she realized that she had left her phone outside when she searched for it
in her bag.
So, she could only pout and glower at Stella with an expression that seemed to say, "You better stop being so flirty."
Vermont's gaze wandered between the two of them as a playful smile appeared on his face.
'This woman is something else. She came with Marshall, yet she dared to flirt with another man in front of
everyone. Marshall has always been smart, but he made a mistake this time.'
Most women would have backed up if they kept getting pushed away like this.
However, this woman did not.
Stella tried to initiate another conversation after Keegan ignored her. "Mr. Kane, you're such an outstanding man. I
simply can't believe that you're still single at this age. How surprising."
"Pfft-"
Vermont almost spurted out the water in his mouth.
'At this age...
'Stella is the only person who dares to make fun of Keegan like this. Is this woman crazy? Does she really think
Keegan is a gentleman?'
Keegan swept his gaze across her. "How old are you?"
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏm"Twenty-five," Stella answered.
Keegan said flatly, "You're still not married at this age. Can't you find a man who wants you? Did you choose a man
who's five years older than you because you can't attract men your age?"
Stella was speechless.
Vermont put on an "I knew it" face.
'He's the last person you'd want to mess with.'
Stella suddenly realized that Keegan was actually holding himself back when he would mock her. She was
impressed by how mean he could be when talking to a person of the opposite sex other than her.
She had completely forgotten that Keegan only acted so ungentlemanly because she was the one who provoked
and annoyed him. Even though Keegan could be a very sarcastic person, he would not intentionally embarrass
other people.
"Mr. Kane, you're overthinking. I just like men who are a little more mature since older men tend to be better at
taking care of their partners. By the way, do you prefer your partner to be a wild kitten or a very obedient one?"
Keegan paused. "Even though I don't discriminate against others who have strange sexual orientations, I prefer to
be with a human myself."
