Chapter 367

“You should take care of your own affairs before worrying about others,” Joshua said,

approaching his car.

“I’ve already taken care of my affairs. Cynthia said that Ellora would return to find me

soon.” Chyler was back to his usual nonchalant and mischievous self.

After all, he and Ellora still had a marriage certificate, unlike him, who had nothing

Joshua’s expression changed.

Find him?

“Are you sure Cynthia told you this?”

“She told me a couple of hours ago at the hotel. Chyler did not hide anything from him.

“Don’t worry… Although she abandoned you, I won’t abandon you no matter what.‘

“Are you certain that Ellora is coming back to find you and not to divorce you?” Joshua

asked a piercing question that hit Chyler in the heart.

Chyler’s smile froze.

Joshua revealed the brutal truth to him. “If the roles were reversed, would you forgive her

if she had done to you what you had done to Ellora?”

Without hesitation, the word ‘no‘ instantly popped into Chyler’s mind, and all his relaxed

emotions vanished.

He did not know why, but he felt what Joshua said was true. If Ellora really came back, she

might be here to divorce him.

With these thoughts in mind, he opened the car door and got out, intending to go upstairs

and clarify things with Cynthia

Joshua grabbed hold of him. “What are you doing?”

“Finding your ex–wife,” Chyler replied, his tone noticeably colder. He was completely

different from the relaxed and cheerful person he was just a moment ago while talking to

Joshua.

Joshua held onto him, not wanting him to disturb Cynthia. “It’s useless even if you find

her.”

“How can you be so

Joshua’s voice turned cold. “If you go up there now and ask her, you won’t get any

answers and might even get kicked out. Instead of asking her, it’s better to think of other

ways.”

However, Chyler did not care about all that, as he was determined to find out the truth.

Joshua leaned against the car, and as Chyler started walking away, he considerately told

him, “You should act according to your own means. In Cynthia’s eyes, you don’t have any

advantages.”

That statement left Chyler speechless. He could not win in a fight against Cynthia, nor

could he match her family background,

it seemed like there was nothing that gave him an advantage.

“Can’t you control her?” Chyler felt a bit uncomfortable.

Joshua did not respond. Instead, he opened the car door, got in, started the car, and

ruthlessly drove away.

Chyler glanced at the hotel and ultimately followed suit. He had come here intending in

ask Cynthia when Ellora would be back and, incidentally, inquire about Ellora’s well–being.

Yet, it seemed that, as Joshua had said, it would be useless to ask Cynthia anything.

Cynthia, in essence, was unlike any other woman. After all, how could there be a woman

who could fight better than men?

Joshua drove back to the hotel and found that Moses had sent Old Man Neal home.

The guests were mostly gone, but Felix and Daphine were still there, seemingly waiting for

Joshua.

When Joshua saw them, he hesitated before calmly walking over to them. His tone was no

no different from usual as he asked,

“Did you send Cynthia back?” Daphne asked.

Emotions flickered in Joshua’s eyes, but he replied in a casual tone, “Mhm.”

Seeing him like this, Daphne guessed the general situation. After all, Joshua was her own

child, and she somewhat understood

him

Nonetheless, she did not talk to him here and decided to wait until they were home.

On the way back, Joshua drove in the front, with Felix and Daphne sitting in the back

Thinking about what happened today, Daphne contemplated for a while before finally

speaking up. “Joshua.”
