The moment their eyes met, Liam smiled faintly at Silvia before he calmly looked away.
Silvia looked down and felt more certain about her assumptions.
Abalene was tired by the time they got off the stage. She asked the housekeeper to send
her back to her room so that she could rest.

nephew, find him a rich girl to marry. If you refuse, I’ll do it myself!”

mind, so she just left.
When she opened the door, she was surprised to see Liam standing there with a glass of
mulled wine. He had an intent look on his face, and she did not know how long he had
been listening to them.
Her expression changed, and she subconsciously asked, “When did you get here, Liam?”
He smiled. “I just got here. Don’t you want to keep Grandma company a little longer, Aunt
Melanie?”
“I have something to attend to at the banquet. I need to go.
