"Not only friend, he's my boyfriend," I managed to say and saw the look of pure startlement on her face. Nerves build insideand that's when nausea decides to crawl its way up into my throat. I gagged, and rush out of Xade's hold, bending over the barricade as I threw up.
Avery!" Mom's voice is loud as both she and Xade rush to my side. She starts to rub my back in soothing circles while Xade holds my hair back and tellsI'm okay. "Are you okay?" Mom rushed in worry as I wrench again on her poor rose flowers.
I felt awful but couldn't stop.
