Chapter: 247

“I’Ul be heading to S.W. Studio. Attend the meeting on my behalf.”

He was contemplating whether or not to work in S.W. Studio.

That way, he would have more opportunities to spend time with Rosalynn and develop their

relationship.

At S.W. Studio

Rosalynn Led Maggie to a secluded corner and pulled out her phone.

“Maggie, there’s something that I need to tell you. Promise me that you will remain calm.”

“Rosalynn, what’s going on?” Maggie asked with curiosity.

Rosalynn showed her the photo she had taken.

“Is the man in the photo your boyfriend? He might have betrayed you.”

Maggie took the phone and looked at the photo. Her smile gradually faded away.

Her eyes welled up with tears and she gripped the phone tightly, remaining silent.

Observing her reaction, Rosalynn sighed and gently patted her shoulder.

“Before my business trip, I saw your boyfriend with this woman at a car showroom, I encountered them

again while shopping with a friend yesterday. I purposely talked to the woman and she revealed to me

that he was her boyfriend.”

Tears streamed down Maggie’s face.

After a moment, she managed to say in a trembling voice, “This woman is Yana Shear, my cousin, who

is just a few months older than me. It Looks like she’s stolen something from me yet again.”

The woman was Maggie’s cousin?

Rosalynn was taken aback. “Has your cousin taken things from you multiple times?”

“Yes.” Maggie nodded with anger in her red eyes.

“Yana is my uncle’s daughter. Their family runs a business and is quite wealthy. My family, on the other

hand, is poor. My parents work at my uncle’s factory.

Since I was a child, I’ve always been more Likable than Yana, which has made her jealous and driven

her to take things from me. As children, she would tell me she was a princess, and because my family

was poor, I was only fit to be her servant.

I couldn’t stand her, but my parents insisted that I should be grateful to my uncle and keep her happy.

So, every time she took my favorite toy, I had to bear it. Every time she pushed my friends away from

me, I had to endure it. It upset me, so I stopped making friends and focused on my studies.
