With a smile, Barlow turned around and left the kitchen to assist Calvert in organizing the herbs.
After tidying up the kitchen, Rosalynn started making dumplings for Calvert.
While she was not at home, Calvert could eat the dumplings she made.

Though Rosalynn was hesitant to leave, she had work to do.
She embraced Calvert and told him, “Take care of yourself, and try not to go into the mountains too
often, alright?”
“I understand. Don’t worry about me. Just be good to yourself.”
Calvert took a look at Barlow, who was washing his hands, and said, “This young man seems decent. It
wouldn’t hurt to get to know him better.”
Rosalynn smiled. “Grandpa, please don’t play matchmaker.”
He didn’t even know what kind of person Barlow was.
Was he so concerned that she wouldn’t get married?
