Cupping the glass, Rosalynn said with light indifference, “His reluctance can’t change anything. Our

relationship will officially end in a month.”

Keegan observed her, adding, “Rosalynn, I won’t attempt to dissuade you since you have your own

convictions. But if you’re unhappy, I could grant you a vacation. Perhaps a relaxing trip would do you

some good?”
