Esther asked hesitatingly, “What’s the good news?”
“I found a potential liver donor for Bradley. She just returned to the country, but we’re unsure if she will
donate her liver.”
Upon hearing this promising news, Esther eagerly asked, “Where is she? I’ll go persuade her.”

Kevin pressed the doorbell and spoke politely. “Ms. Mandy Pendleton, I’m Dr. Slade, the one who
contacted you before…”
Mandy turned off the hose she was using to water the plants and walked over to Kevin. Her clear gaze
swept over him and landed on Esther. She asked with a slight surprise, “Who is this?”
