accept Chadwick’s threat?”
“I do,” Esther said, her heart aching. “But I had no choice. I want him to survive.”
Kevin fell silent.
Esther and Bradley hadn’t officially divorced yet, and as his wife, she had the authority to sign the surgery consent
form. The surgery would be under Kevin’s supervision. All preparations were in place, awaiting Mandy.
Esther wasn’t sure if Chadwick could persuade Mandy to donate her liver. Her anxious heart calmed down only
when she saw Mandy appear before her.
