‘This… This can’t be! How could Esther have died so easily?’ Mandy muttered inwardly.

Mandy had no choice but to believe what she saw. Falling from Coastal Highway 9 was extremely dangerous, and a

massive fire, too? This couldn’t mean…

She watched the car’s dashcam video repeatedly and made a copy of it, returning the memory card to its place.

Mandy felt a strange sense of pity for Esther.

‘Esther, you loved Bradley so much, and to die at his hands, it’s somewhat fitting. Congratulations! You died at the

hands of the man you loved,’ she thought.

But when she thought about it, Bradley was truly ruthless. Regardless of how one looked at it, Esther was the

woman who had given birth to his children, yet he had pushed her to her death.

Mandy suddenly covered her face and laughed. If Esther was truly dead and Bradley only realized his feelings for

her afterward, that would be interesting.

Bradley undoubtedly had unique emotions for Esther.

Esther had died, and the living Bradley was her enemy as well. Mandy considered whether she should marry

Bradley. If she became his wife, she could rightfully inherit everything from him once he died.

Mandy poured a glass of milk and knocked on Bradley’s door.

“Bradley, I see that you aren’t in a good mental state. I’ve prepared a glass of warm milk to help you sleep…”

Mandy’s words weren’t finished before she heard a roar from behind the bedroom door. “Get lost!”

Bradley’s strong voice made Mandy’s lips twitch. Apparently, Bradley hadn’t yet realized the complexity of his

feelings for Esther.

“Well, if you need anything, just call me!”

Mandy had no intention of pampering Bradley. She drank the warm milk with a mocking smile and left.

In the bedroom, Bradley lay on the bed, gazing at the crystal chandelier above. His mind was filled with images of

Esther. In his memories, Esther was youthful and vibrant, like a flower that forever bloomed with pride. Her eyes

were always pure, clear, and bright. She was a permanent presence in his world, and he thought she would always

be there.

Bradley stood up, walked into the secret room, and slowly lay down in the crystal coffin. The interior of the crystal

coffin was not spacious. When he lay inside, he felt an inexplicable sense of suffocation.

The air carried an indescribable sense of oppression despite the light being on and filling the space. The boundless

darkness, however, engulfed Bradley like a monstrous creature.

Suddenly, he felt suffocated, as if a heavy boulder was pressing down on his chest. He grabbed the edge of the

crystal coffin, sitting up abruptly. At that moment, he felt as if countless invisible hands were tearing his body apart.

An intangible resentment clung to Bradley, and he looked toward the entrance of the secret room as if he saw

Esther standing under the light.

“Esther! I knew you didn’t die!”
