gate to get the medicine, then ran all the way back to the mourning hall.
“Oh my god! She actually came out of that place unharmed?” someone asked in bewilderment.
“Did she order.. takeout?” They could not see too clearly from the monitors. They only saw Serenity
retrieve something from the delivery man.
“I can’t believe Mr. Valor didn’t kick her out. Also… is she going back to eat the takeout with Mr. Valor?”
another security guard asked in wonder.
They knew that Serenity was someone important to Mr. Valor since he let her stay in the Valor
Residence.
But not everyone could enter the mourning hall. Besides Mr. Valor and Master Zack, only old servants
who had served the Valor family for decades could go in there to clean the place.

When they saw her walking inside, they were already waiting for her to get kicked out. She might
