She glared at Cedrick. "Alfred rented the whole hotel. If you think we're so nasty, please leave!"
"You're asking me to leave? You're the one who should leave." Cedrick sneered.
Catelyn frowned. 'What does he mean?'
Just then, Alfred returned.
From a distance, he saw the back of a familiar man standing at the front door of the hotel. The man was wearing a
suit and had a cold, somber aura around him...
Alfred's face changed color as he approached and found it was Cedrick.
Alfred walked quickly to Catelyn's side, his arm next to Catelyn's. "Cedrick?"
Cedrick glanced over their arms and sneered, "Mr. Wagner, you're a brilliant man. On one hand, you're looking for
your fiancee, and on the other hand, you're stealing my wife. I honestly admire you."
Perhaps because the door was open, Catelyn felt the air become colder.
She shivered. "Don't insult Mr. Wagner. We are just friends. He saved my life. And I chose to come here with him."
"It was your choice?"

Cedrick gave a bitter smile. His hands clenched into fists.
'Did she think I couldn't protect her?'
He took a deep breath and asked, "You won't invite me in?"
Alfred refused with a smile, "Sorry, it's not very convenient."
"But I must go in." Cedrick snickered. Eason then took a document out of his handbag and handed it to Alfred.
Alfred's face changed color as he read it.
Catelyn was curious. She read the document too.
"Mr. Mason bought the island. This hotel now belongs to Mr. Mason," Eason reminded kindly.
Catelyn saw on the paper that Cedrick bought the island two days ago, exactly the day she and Alfred got on the island.
'Did he already find out I was in Fidelysia?
'I was too careless. I didn't notice that Cedrick had tracked me down.
'And did the gang who tried to kill me come to Fidelysia, too?
'What do you want? We had booked this hotel. You have no right to kick US out."
