Catelyn pretended to close her eyes, waiting for the 'kiss' to come.
She could feel Jerrad's breath getting closer and realized something was wrong.
It was too late.
A layer of icy temperature landed on Catelyn's lips. She opened her eyes and saw Jerrad's evil-looking face right in front
of her.
He was about to kiss her right before everyone!
Catelyn's eyes widened in shock, and she instinctively wanted to push him away and slap him in the face.
However, Jerrad was a step quicker than her. He pinned her shoulders down, keeping her from moving.
Catelyn felt anxious. She was about to raise her knee and ram it against Jerrad.

Catelyn knew that she was in trouble. She moved toward Cedrick embarrassingly.
Cedrick put his arms around her waist, took her into his arms, and said domineeringly to all the male guests
present, "I don't care if you all are here for a blind date. However, if you want to pursue my wife, you have to go
through me first!"

Cedrick did not answer her, and his black eyes were as gloomy as the dark stormy clouds.
He took out some wet wipes from his pocket and started wiping off her lipstick.
Catelyn only felt numbness on her lips, and she was disgusted by Jerrad's breath. She could only obediently let Cedrick
wipe her lips.
"Serves him right! Get him out of Sapphire City!" She smirked at Cedrick.
Cedrick's face was still expressionless, looking terribly cold.
Catelyn's tone softened. She tugged at the hem of his clothes. "I swear, I didn't mean to go on a blind date without
telling you. You also know that my grandmother has a conflict with the Mason Family and wants me to divorce you...
