Adam's sharp eyes bore into Sasha as he scoffed.
"I do not want to bother with you either, but your actions have put Undercity at risk. If I do not keep you in line, you
will one day destroy us!"
Even though she was injured, she still held herself with a strong air of confidence. Frost shined in her eyes as she
stared back at him.
"My business is none of yours. Moreover, this is a hospital. We are in my room. I do not want to see you here!"
When he saw the stubborn look on her face, he snorted and struck his cane against the floor.
"Put away those ambitious little dreams of yours. Colton is not someone you can make an enemy of. When your
identity is exposed, you will be the one who suffers."
She was confused by what he said. What did he mean by that?

"Just what are you trying to say?" she coldly asked.
He decided to stop beating around the bush and be blunt.
"Colton Gardner is connected to Wolf. If you continue to use Undercity's might to make yourself look pitiful, you will
force Undercity into directly going against Wolf."
Shock flashed in her eyes. Wolf was an organization with a longer history than Undercity. She did not expect Colton
to be connected to someone from Wolf.
Still, the thought of Colton going against Undercity for her made her happy.
Adam seemed to know what she was thinking by looking at the faint smile on her face. He laughed and popped her
bubble.
"Enough with the delusions. He is not going against Undercity for you, but for that woman!"
When she heard that Colton was doing it for Nicole, her face darkened significantly.
Nicole again?! Why was it always Nicole?
Adam observed the unpleasant look on her face.
"The woman by his side has been accused of murdering the Clancies," he continued. "If I am not wrong, it was you
who murdered them."
He continued to observe her facial expression. When he saw her face darken further, his smile brightened.
"You were also behind the show put on today."
She kept quiet, pursing her lips.
"Stop with the tricks. If I had not been helping you, you would have been found out by now," he sternly warned.
While it was evident that she intended to ignore him, he did not stop talking.
"Also, stop trying to kill Noah Bennett. Colton has already sent a warning. If you insist on this train of action, you are
pitting Undercity against Wolf!"
She clenched her fists and her jaw.

"I have taken away your authority in the group. You will return to your rightful place after you're aware of what you
have done. Also, focus on recovery for the next few days. Another step out of the line, and I will tell Colton what you
did."
Finally, upon hearing Colton's name, her face twitched. When she looked up at Adam, she was gritting her teeth
hard.
"If you dare tell Colton a word about this, I will drag you down to hell with me!" she barked out.
Currently, Colton was everything she dreamed of. She absolutely would not let anyone interfere with her plans.
When Adam saw the angry look on her face, he grinned.
"If you want to drag me down to hell with you, you will first need to be capable of doing that," he said. "If you do not
have the power to do so, none of your threats are worth anything."
Her face was pale with fury. Still, she kept quiet. It was true; only a small portion of Undercity members was under
her thumb, and that only happened when she was not fighting against Adam.
