Nicole nodded calmly and replied, "I have to keep my promise."

"Did you reach out to F&R Enterprise?" Nicole asked in a confused tone

never procrastinates and only does the tasks he's confident of. Since F&R Enterprise possesses the latest network
technology, I believe that they're a more capable partner in the field of artificial intelligence."
He raised his gaze and it landed on Nicole's face as he continued, "Even if the investment ended up a failure, it's
only a loss of several hundred billion. If it's a success, the net worth of the Gardner Corporation will double."
A loss of several hundred billion only? Nicole thought bitterly. Only a rich guy could say such things.
She struggled a little and got out of his embrace before she added, "You should deal with the business with F&R
Enterprise at the moment. I'll handle my mother's business on my own."
Colton, however, wasn't pleased to see her acting all distant with him. Thus, he grabbed her arm and confronted
her, "Are you trying to cut ties with me right now?"
She blinked for a moment and commented in innocence, "President Gardner, we're strangers, aren't we? There's
no need to cut ties in the first place."
He became less happy after hearing her words. He considered the best for her in every aspect, but the heartless
Nicole never thought about him, not even once.
Pinching her face, he sneered, "So, you don't remember the relationship between us. Do you need me to remind
you?"
As he finished his words, he slid his hand down her face without her permission.
