Nicole heard noises inside not long after she walked out. Her lips then formed a small smile.
Despite being the same age as Evelyn, Evelyn had been spoiled since she was young and couldn't stand the

When Zachary walked upstairs, he found Nicole absorbed in her artwork. So, he approached with curiosity and
smiled. "Oh? Picking up your old job?"

Zachary grimaced and lowered his voice gradually. Then, he stretched out to rest his hands on Nicole's shoulder
and dropped his voice. "Nicole, don't be terrified. I will not allow you and Hayden to be apart."
Nicole gave a weak smile. She didn't want to take any chances. Evelyn intended to take advantage of the
opportunity to humiliate her, but she felt nothing. In fact, Nicole's life would finally be peaceful once Colton and
Evelyn were married.
"Everything is fine with me. This is my job. Therefore, it's simple for me."
Zachary was wounded when he saw Nicole concede her predicament.

She disliked causing problems. People would feel sorry for her because of her level-headedness.
Zachary closed his palms before bending over and hugging Nicole's shoulder.
He used little strength in his arms and rested his massive chest on Nicole's head.
Nicole's hand, which was clutching the pencil, froze automatically. Her mouth was agape, and she couldn't speak a
word.

Nicole's statements did not appear to surprise Zachary. He lightly curled his lips against her ear, saying, "I can live
with it. Nicole, I don't care. I'm solely interested in you. I believe you will fall in love with me after we have been
together for a long time."
Nicole's breathing seemed to be coming to a stop. So, she hurriedly stood up and stepped away from Zachary's
scorching grasp.
