Renee's heart skipped a beat.

Adie had always been smarter and more adaptable than other children, so Renee felt that nobody would dare to
harm him.

would do something like this."

Renee frowned and thought about the women who held grudges against her.
"Briar? Seraphina? | can't recall any other woman who has it out for me."
“No."
Justin shook his head.

Quinton checked his watch, then scowled furiously.

crap?"
Renee, however, was not in the mood to investigate Damon.
