“Afraid of your wife? I think you have dementia.”
Kaylah put down the pen holder in her hand and said coldly, “Mr. Lowery, let me remind you again that we have divorced.”
Hendry used to be aggrieved and flustered if Kaylah said that.

be fired by Hendry.
When the secretary left, he closed the office door, leaving them alone.
Hendry was satisfied. He looked at Kaylah and apologized seriously, “Sorry, I was too impulsive
yesterday.”
