Chapter 155 Doreen Makes an Appointment
In the villa, Sean’s pupils contracted!
In the next moment, Gerald pulled a Void-breaking from his back.
He didn’t want to waste time with this person, so he raised his sword and slashed. He wanted to kill this
guy and then kill the guy upstairs!
“Watchman No. 0! You are Watchman No. 0!” Sean’s expression changed greatly. The red wine glass fell
to the ground, and he shouted, “Mr. Brough, save me!”

Gerald frowned.
“Let’s get in the car and go back first!” Valery said, “Other things can wait!”

Valery’s face turned cold. She looked at Gerald and asked, “Are you going to change or not?”
“Yes! I will change first, okay?” Gerald coughed and said, “Don’t peek!”
“Which part of your body have I not seen?” Valery countered.
It made Gerald feel a little awkward.
In the Night Watch, Valery would treat him every time he got injured. She had indeed seen most parts of
his
body.
Gerald ran to the back row and said while changing, “Alas, you’ve seen me naked, but you don’t want to
be
responsible for me…”
Gerald did not dare to speak anymore as he looked at Valery’s face which was slowly turning colder. He
changed his clothes and jumped out of the car. After Valery changed hers, they walked upstairs!
After freshening himself up, Gerald returned to the ward.
Noticing Gerald walking in, Carolyn quickly asked, “How is it?”
“I killed Sean. The guy who attacked you ran away. I didn’t catch up with him.” Gerald said, “But Sean
called
him Mr. Brough. So, he was not Dax Wynger.”
Hearing that Sean was dead, Carolyn felt like crying again.
“Carolyn, you don’t have to hide these things from me!” Gerald held her hand and said, “You just need to
rest. When you recover, we will face all of this together and avenge Terry!”
Carolyn nodded. Gerald and Valery chatted with her for a while, and Carolyn slowly fell asleep.
When she fell asleep, Gerald, Valery, and Macy walked out of the ward and greeted them. Gerald
washed up and lay down on his bed.
Just as he lay down, his phone rang. He picked it up and saw that it was Doreen calling.
Gerald was surprised. He picked up the phone and said, “Hey, it’s so late. Are you still awake?”
“I sent you a lot of messages, but you didn’t reply to me.” Doreen said, “Are you angry?”
“Angry? Why would I be angry?” Gerald said, “I was busy today, so I didn’t look at my phone.”
“Oh! I thought after the truth was revealed, you were angry with me because of what our family had done
to you!” Doreen said. Then she let out a sigh and continued, “Gerald, let’s have lunch together
tomorrow.”
“Okay!” Gerald nodded and said, “We should celebrate. Call Audrey and the others over. It’s my treat!”
“I mean I want to have a meal with you alone. I want to talk to you,” Doreen hesitated for a moment and
said.

Gerald didn’t know what to say but nodded and said, “Okay!”
“Then tomorrow at noon, we will meet at Splendor Restaurant!” Doreen said and hung up the phone.
Gerald didn’t think too much about it. He turned off the phone and lay on the bed. He slowly fell asleep
as he
mulled over things.
He slept until the next day at ten o’clock in the afternoon before slowly getting up.
Ever since he returned home, he had been woken up by Mason every morning. He hadn’t slept so well in
a
long time.
Walking out of the room, Gerald saw Valery and Macy sitting on the sofa. Noticing Gerald, Valery said, “I
put
breakfast on the table for you. Eat it yourself!”
“I’ve been invited to a big feast.” Gerald chuckled, “I have to keep my stomach empty!”
Valery glanced at him and snorted coldly. Then, she said, “We need to take care of things quickly and
leave
Sacramento!”
“What?” Gerald frowned and asked, “What’s wrong?”
*The Maddox family feels Sacramento is not safe. They plan to bring Ingrid back to Washington first. We
have to go there too,” Valery said.
Gerald’s eyes slightly moved, and then a cold light flashed as he said, “It’s a good idea to go to
Washington.
The underground organizations there are more active. How about this? I will deal with things here first,
and you can go before me! I will come with Carolyn after her injuries recover. In addition, don’t tell her
about Watchman No. 2. She doesn’t want to go back now.”
Valery nodded. “I know!”
“How’s the situation with Sean?” Gerald thought for a moment and asked.
