off her guard by the announcement and those vicious comments.
They were friends for years so they cared about and knew each other well.
It was dark outside.
After exchanging good nights with Zona, Nova went to sleep. She was hurt actually, by Orville’s statements, but she
accepted it quickly with quiet dignity. Contrary to expectation, she was even sound asleep.
The lamp died, and another night was over. When Nova opened her eyes on the second day, some new top–
searching topics appeared on her phone’s notifications, #Henry The Caring Man#. The first sight of the hashtag
made Nova almost heave and there was a hint of irony in her eyes.
