Chapter 907 Blow Them All Up
He got careless just now, letting slip that the document was in Zoey's hands, inadvertently revealing this
information to Juliana.
If Juliana got her hands on those documents before he did, she would use them to threaten him.
How is that any different from those documents being in Sofie's possession?
After Juliana left, he quickly reached for his phone and sent a text message to his personal bodyguard that read:
Find an opportunity to do away with Juliana. Make it clean and don't leave any traces behind.
A few seconds later, the bodyguard responded: Yes, sir!
Tucker chuckled softly as he looked at his phone screen. His handsome face contorted into an evil expression,
exuding a chilling, hostile aura.
Sofie is already dead, so there's no need for me to fight her to the death and drag the Hoffman family down with
me. Zoey Shurmer is not in the least bit as capable as her mother. How dare she even try to go against me? I'll do
whatever it takes to find that despicable woman, and once I do, I could easily defeat her with just a flick of my
fingers. I won't need to waste my breath fighting tooth and nail with her.
After a moment of pondering, he sent a message to another number that read: Find some time to visit the cell
where that little b*stard is held captive and take care of him.
The only ones who could threaten his position in the Hoffman family were Juliana and Archie.
He would become the sole heir of the Hoffman family after their demise and wouldn't have to worry about
someone stabbing him in the back.
Hence, he issued two consecutive orders to have them killed, eliminating future troubles once and for all.
The next day, in the ward at the research base, Cameron gradually regained consciousness from his coma.
His complexion had taken on a sickly pallor, and he appeared frail.
Even though there was no bloodshed and he had no fatal wounds, he still appeared as if he were teetering on the

His consciousness gradually returned after a momentary daze, and he turned to look at the side of the bed, where
he saw a woman sprawling. He was stunned by the sight.
The morning sun bathed her tired face in its warm glow, accentuating the deep furrows in her brow, which seemed
particularly pronounced in the sunlight.
Subconsciously, he reached out to caress her forehead, attempting to smooth out the wrinkles.
Blaze, who was sleeping lightly, was promptly awakened by the man's touch.
Their eyes met, and he awkwardly looked away, saying in a strained voice, “It's good that you're awake. I don't
need to shove you aside.”
Blaze grabbed his hand before he could withdraw it and said smilingly, “I knew following Bailey can draw me closer
to you. How are you feeling now? Do you feel discomfort anywhere? Do you need anything?”
Cameron struggled to pull his hand back but to no avail, so he gave up and said in a hoarse voice, “I'm okay. There
are no side effects. I won't die anytime soon.”
Blaze slapped the back of his hand. “You're not allowed to mention the word 'die' in front of me, got it?”
Cameron rolled his eyes. “I'm the one who's going to die, not you. What are you so worked up for?”
“But your life is more important than mine,” Blaze blurted out.
All of a sudden, the atmosphere in the room became tense and ambiguous.
Blaze tightened her grip on his hand and murmured, “I've been pursuing you for so many years. Don't you
understand my feelings yet? Cameron, I know you admire Bailey, but can you even guarantee that your feelings for
her amount to love? If it were love, you would've done everything in your power to fight for her, but the truth is,
you didn't. You even gave her and Artemis your blessings. You don't have romantic feelings for her at all.”
Cameron found himself at a loss for words.
At that moment, the door swung open, and Bailey stepped in.
Cameron quickly broke free from Blaze's grasp when he saw Bailey.
Blaze looked down at her empty palm, and a gloomy look surfaced in her gaze.
Did he retract his hand so quickly because he was afraid Bailey might misunderstand? Was everything I just said
wishful thinking? Does Cameron truly have romantic feelings for Bailey?
“You're awake.” Bailey asked, “Do you feel unwell anywhere?”
Cameron struggled to sit up and chuckled. “I'm okay. The poison probably hasn't taken effect yet.”
Bailey strolled over to the bedside and tentatively asked, “Can you identify the components of the toxin in your
body?”
Cameron bobbed his head. “I can. They're all poisons from the Encyclopedia of Poison, so I'm very familiar with
them.”
Bailey was delighted, but before she could ask Cameron to list out all the components, the latter added, “But Kurt
added a few extra ingredients inside, and I can't identify those.”
Both Bailey and Blaze's expressions darkened simultaneously.
They were both well-versed in the art of poison crafting, understanding that to create an antidote, they needed a
complete poison formula. Only in this way could they identify the counteracting ingredients necessary to serve as a
catalyst. If they made a mistake with even one ingredient, what they created would not be an antidote but a death
inducer.
Seeing the ashen expression on the two woman's faces, Cameron couldn't help laughing. “What's the worst that
could happen? I'll just die at most. It's not a big deal. Could you stop looking so grim? You're making me afraid of
dying.”
Bailey shot him a fierce glare and turned to leave the room.
“I'll give Kurt a call, have a chat with him, and see what he wants. If it's within our power, I'll agree to his terms first.
We can figure out the rest after you're saved.”
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmCameron instinctively reached out to grab her but failed. Frantically, he said, “Don't contact him! I'd rather die than
accept charity from that jerk.”
Bailey stopped in her tracks, and when she turned around, her gaze became icy cold.
“So, what you're saying is, you want me to watch you die right before my eyes and then carry the weight of a life
on my conscience, blaming myself for the rest of my days?”
“T-That's not what I meant.”
“Since that's not the case, just stay here honestly and recuperate. You don't need to worry about anything else. I'll
handle it.”
Blaze slowly lowered her head.
It won't be easy to make Kurt hand over the antidote or the poison formula. I have a hunch that this jerk is coming
for me. If I don't give him what he wants, he won't hand over the antidote even if Bailey threatens him with a knife
to his throat.
Bailey went straight to the study after leaving the ward.
Pushing open the door, she saw Artemis leaning against the floor-to-ceiling window with his phone in his hand. It
seemed like he had just finished a phone call, and his expression was grave.
“You called Kurt?”
Artemis hummed in response. “He's still unaware of this matter. He was clearly taken aback when I told him, but he
soon became overjoyed. Just as we suspected, he must've specifically prepared this poison to deal with Cameron.”
“Did he mention what he wants us in exchange for the antidote?” Bailey asked.
Artemis shook his head. “He said we can't provide him what he wants and that he'll contact the person who can.”
Bailey cursed vehemently, “That b*stard better not find himself at my mercy, or I swear I'll make him die a horrible
death.”
In the study in the Hoffman residence, Tucker's personal bodyguard said to him, “Mr. Hoffman, the trap has been
set. Juliana has been searching for Archie these past few days. She's probably planning to rescue him and challenge
you. I've already had someone reveal Archie's whereabouts to her. Once she goes there, we'll just toss a bomb and
blow them both up.”
